Alright, so went through everything there currently is and fiddled around a bit.
overall, it's a good proof of concept, and being early on in its life and a first game, I'm not gonna harp on early growing pains too much and instead provide some quick suggestions (mostly personal):
1. A sprint button would do wonders for getting around, as currently going from one place to the other is...a bit slow.
2. A block button could be handy, and would let you put a bit more into future enemies. Current enemies are really easy to kite (which I understand, early showcase and first area so easy enough enemies and easy enough boss).
3. Would recommend spacing out the first bosses attacks a bit more, he's a little spammy. Nothing too troubling, just a bit annoying. Could carry for other enemies, but really only have the one variant and they're fairly easily kited as mentioned so not a pressing issue (yet).
Much more personal suggestions/requests to maybe consider for the future:
4. Some idle animation would make things feel a bit less "dead" if that makes sense. AFK a bit and character does some posing, stuff like that.
5. Is there any way to add some movement outside of the cutscenes? While the growth aspect is nice, the belly is just sort of there. Meanwhile, in the two cutscenes its depicted as if things are supposed to be quite active which isn't really shown in the actual gameplay. I feel like depicting that same movement in the belly during actual gameplay would do a lot for the overall experience (and could even play into things down the line if you wanted to shake things up a bit.)
Overall, it's a bit rough at the edges but it was still fairly enjoyable. I look forward to future development!
