My coding language SUCKS (I used scratch) https://random-r.itch.io/spbin-to-win
This is really great for a first game! Some notes, the volume started at zero when the game launched (kinda weird), The enemy side felt barren maybe just having card backs could help, and also showing what card the enemy used would be cool. I don't really see how it used the theme but I might just be slow
The minigames are great! well made and fun. I have a small issue tho, having enter be the key you press to start a minigame feels unnatural, having a keybind closer to the WASD keys might help. For the theming its a bit of a stretch, I get how its like your in an office chair and your spinning around to try and find stuff to do, but I think there is a disconnect from the animation to what your actually gonna play. Maybe making the chair stop in some direction to indacate what your going to do might help.
wow! this is perfect! I was literally just playing your game I found it on a seperate thread! Its really cool the start was giving omori vibes and the actual gameplay is really unique. It feels like a 4D game to me super trippy. One thing to note it would be really nice to have a separate key bind that you can hold to constantly be switching between eyes. I found it annoying spamming just to make sure I didn't miss a key. Overall it was really sweat and I didn't find any bugs!
Yo this is mine, only thing to note is that it is coded in scratch and compiled to HTML using turbo warphttps://random-r.itch.io/spbin-to-win
Yeah I be playtesting so many games and replying to so many comments it asks if im a robot. ANYWAYS about Project Helix. I love the vibe and visual style, it really felt like I was working for some company and not just playing a game. Something I have found out, is that I am way to dumb for this game :') I will definitely try to beat this game, someday.
No worries! I playtested it and HOLY IS IT FUN. The voice lines had me giggling. It feels like a flash game, in the best possible way. I like how you used the theme both in the gameplay and in the weapon select. Just one note, i'm impatient and would love to have a skip button for the weapon select.
