The company behind Honey Select 2 [Illusion] (which this game's graphics is made with) doesn't allow other games made with their game on steam.

Even though the greedy bastards already completely cut off this game from their company and even changed name/identity.

I believe the best solution to this problem to be switching to Dropbox or wetransfer.
Both those solutions don't put restrictions on the downloader, but the uploader (W.M) would have to pay for the service.

And absolutely do not choose Google Drive as the main source, as Google Drive is both terrible for the uploader as the downloader, especially for large items.

As of now there are no other download methods, but WM could put it on his Google Drive (which is WAY worse than Mega in every conceivable way, so it's not recommended)

The game size is currently under the 5 GB, so there should be no trouble using mega to download it,
you can make downloading a bit easier by using the mega desktop app (this is not me shilling, it actually made my life easier)

Masquerade has the uncompressed images.
Meaning they are of original size and quality.
Which is a must-have for 2k viewers and great for 1080p viewers
but it comes with the downside of having a larger file size

and the "creator" is just the title of the game, has nothing to do with Masquerade edition

You'll never be able to fully change the name,
as it would simply ruin the game and its story.
The creator gave the MC this name for a reason.

In chapter 3 you get a section where you go kinda undercover so you're allowed to change your name there

in chapter 3 you can change your name

This is a common issue on Windows 11,
So I'm going on a limb and say you're running Windows 11.

Extract the game files using 7zip instead of the crappy windows default extractor.

I know that it's not the game's fault as aside from the lack of permissions it all works fine according to other MacOS users

maybe there was a failure in the download process and thanks to that the data is incorrect.
Try redownloading it, and if that doesn't work, then I don't know what does.

I recently had to fix this issue for another user, so I know what to do.
It does not have the proper permission to run.
So you'll have to give it permission with chmod in the terminal like so

chmod a+x [GAME]/Contents/MacOS/*

however, the person which also had this issue mentioned that this works: 

 chmod a+x DOGMA/MacOS.app/0.2+.app/Contents/MacOS/*

And then disable the gatekeeper to open the app.

The reason that this happens is because archiving it in a .rar or any other archive formats removes the permissions from the .app file.

This issue is already known by Dia, but I'm not sure if he'll be able to fix it

It works perfectly for everyone else, and everything you need is in the downloaded package.

Hmm. I don't own an MacOS/IOS device, so I'm not sure,
but I read online that devices with the M2 chip should be able to run it.

Itch.io only allows files up to 4GB, since these files are 4.8GB Caribdis needs to use third-party sites (eg. Mega, Google Drive) to host the game files

You can just download the update and run it,
and delete the old version.

Saves are saved outside the downloaded folder, so you don't have to worry about porting over saves to the new version.

Just finished this game.
The graphical quality might not be on par with Eternum, but that does not mean it's any worse!

This game is so beautiful, the H scenes were amazingly done, the design of the girls are unique and mesmerizing (especially Lauren, Aiko and Carla 😍),
the story was really well written.

And the ending made me feel quite sad, which is rare to happen for me.

Overall:
how the heck is this not on the popular page of every website!
It's so good.

Just finished playing 0.4.

This has to be one of the BEST R18 visual novels I have ever seen,
you could get away with charging money for this game.

The story, graphics, and character designs are all brilliantly done.
I have never in my life been so immersed in playing a visual novel.
