I think its interesting that I keep seeing conversations about there not being enough AP that hit taboo subjects, but I also hear a lot of AP creators say they are creating what they want and not necessarily catering to any particular audience.
I do think the concept of AP feeling like a dream is pretty apt, especially when they just follow their tangents and whims. I also think the idea of AP trying to give the audience the same feeling of playing the game is a sisyphean task. I find the excitement that people exhibit while playing to be an infectious element of AP that is under rated, but I feel that is better compared to livestreaming lets plays or sports.
