Hi! Thanks for your comment! For you to interact with certain objects, you need to pull out a certain tool (the tools you can use on the object are displayed below the crosshair). To switch which tool you are holding you can use either scroll wheel or the number keys (1 to 3). You can check the controls both on the main menu and the pause menu (by pressing the button labeled "Controls")
