Have I run into a bug or is the forest area just completely lacking dialogue? There was no prompt of any kind when I first reached the hub. When I got to the end of the first path Talia made a comment about someone I don't recall meeting telling her to kill the roots, and the game over scenes seem to be just the CG's with no dialogue as well.

Yeah I'm sure. Wish I could provide more help but I don't really know much about game making or debugging. Holding the button normally fast forwards/skips through text and stuff right? Maybe there's something happening in the background causing lag that I'm skipping/accelerating by holding it down?

Sorry I probably should've mentioned, I did try that. As far as I can tell there aren't any weather effects in the town are there? At the very least using the item doesn't seem to change much. The lag does stop when I go in buildings though. Maybe it's to do with all the animations of the water and lights or something?

Something else weird I've discovered messing around though is that the lag stops as long as I'm holding the confirm button. Holding enter or z I can run around outside just fine, but the moment I release the button it's back to the slideshow. This makes it possible to get around at least, but reading text or viewing scenes properly might be kinda difficult.

For some reason I'm getting a ton of lag trying to play this - it just drops to like zero frames on the title screen after finishing the intro animation. If I mash through that the first little sequence of traversing the cliffs is fine, but then it goes slideshow mode again the moment I get into town with the guard. This only seems to happen in the full game and not the demo, too, which is frustrating. Anyone got any idea what might be causing it?
