Nicely done! The game reminded me of early SPORE levels.
It’s always surprising to see a main menu within a level. I would have loved to see some more mechanics, but the game itself is pretty relaxing (when no big fish are in sight!)
Really digging this! The game reminds me of hours spent adjusting orbits in Kerbal Space Program, except here it’s nicely boiled down to the fun and immediately actionable parts.
I like the scale of the puzzles and their freeform nature. Honestly my only gripe is having to remember and fiddle with controls without having the ability to display them on screen, but it’s a really minor nitpick.
Above all - Congrats on finishing your first jam game! It’s really great and I’ll be looking forward to whatever you make next.
I found the concept quite interesting and could definitely see it become fun in the way that a card game can become a bit more… time sensitive? For one I did enjoy figuring out the mechanics on the fly, and DO appreciate you’ve decided to add some design pieces as screenshots!
Congrats on your first submission! Hope the jam was a nice learning expercience for you all above all :)
Thank you for playing!
The Tron-like aesthetic really kind of… emerged during the development and we decided to keep it in because it just looked pleasing!
Originally we’ve had more ideas about enemies and even plans to implement actual boss fights in between stages but the time restriction always gets in the way.
Finally, some actual tank controls!
The game feels fun to play, and the idea with the selective shooting is a pretty interesting one. Few basic feedback points I’d have:
That said, fantastic job for the whole family! It takes a team to make something as cool as this, not to mention release it. :)
