Incredible. This game ran flawlessly on the FPGBC and Gameboy Pocket. The game loop is addicting and the combo system really kept me chasing that dragon. This game being more "pick up and play" will keep me coming back to it time and time again.

I really liked the use of tile swapping for the background and found the overall presentation to be very polished. I could see this being released back in the day as an arcade port of sorts on the original GameBoy DMG.

Your commitment to open source is great to see and this being written in assembly within the time frame is insanity.

Also the music absolutely SLAPS, hope to see more GameBoy games from you in the future!

Very cool concept, the jump scare got me when I least expected it!

This was a cute game, the dash mechanic was creative and really fun.

It reminds me of something I would have played on newgrounds or miniclip years ago in the best possible way.

The UI at the end does require me to go full screen to restart and it could benefit from some sound effects.

Overall this was a fun game!

The mechanics and game loop were addicting,  I loved the overall aesthetic and user interface.

The controls took me some time to get used to, but were very engaging.

Awesome concept and presentation, I really enjoyed this game!

I appreciate the feedback and have updated the control listing, thanks for playing!

Absolutely, I just uploaded it. The .gbc file has been tested on the FPGBC and should also work on original hardware.

Thanks for playing!
