In general, it's a good idea. Personally, I like the Hotline Miami, so this implementation of a top-down shooter is also good. I would like to have a more diverse sound, effects, and weapons. I haven't completed many rooms, but the weapons I've used so far have become repetitive. It would be interesting to see the weapons dropped by mobs, other abilities, and so on.
