Thank you so much! It employs user location + a sun angle algorithm to calculate sunrise / set times, while season is latitude based. And you're the first to notice the trails! I wanted to convey a sense that in order to explore the garden, you cannot avoid marking it - connected to the point that you can never pass through the world without making a trace (albeit one that is always transient, like the passing days and seasons, with the apparent 'order' of the garden being temporary too).
