That's a really good idea.

I really appreciate your detailed review!

If I continue building the project the music is definitely something I'd improve since for longer runs it gets kind of repetitive.

The intention with the fireballs was to have them grow until full size and then stay that size but maybe I should have them start larger so they're easier to see.

I agree about the health being confusing, the intention was that it would give you enough extra health that it blocks an additional hit before you die for each one you pick up. I think the reason the health power up may be bugged because dying removes a stack of health but getting hit also removes a stack. Without some kind of life bar it's hard to tell when you can take another hit.

I definitely would want to add more animations and an even larger boss style enemy that's designed to be more challenging once you have enough power ups and get past the initial difficulty curve.

This game really makes you feel like you're a dragon. I really enjoyed the art and music.

I love the concept and especially the job board. It's hilarious. The art was also really well done.

I loved the music and the art for this game!

I really liked this! My only critique is that with how fast the dragon falls maybe he should be a chubby dragon

It may be a bit loud depending on your volume settings!

Thanks for checking out my game, I hope you all like it.

You can shoot with spacebar on the keyboard. I should maybe add the controls to the start menu or start of the game. I think aiming with the mouse could be fun, I'll think about adding that as well.

I just put up a new version that has some improvements that I wasn't able to get into the game during the jam!

Hey I just got a new version up that has the background and sounds fixed! I also added a bit of a delay to the beginning of the game as well so you're not immediately thrown in. I fixed asteroids spawning on top of the player too.

Yeah the limitation use could have been better. I thought about more asteroids being added every 10 seconds but my sleep deprived brain didn't think of that.

Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it!

The movement definitely takes some getting used to and the limitation definitely could have been better, I was kind of stretched for time since I had to scrap my original idea halfway through the jam. Did you have any ideas for alternative limitations while playing?

Yeah the laser sound definitely got annoying after a few times playtesting it. I want to release an improved second version with better assets and with improvements. There's actually supposed to be stars in the background like in the screenshots but they didn't work after exporting. So there's definitely still some work I can put into it when I have some free time. I also really want to add mobile support at some point.

Yeah I agree, I'll need to maybe make the first wave have less asteroids so players can get the hang of it or have the countdown. Also there's a bug where the asteroids can spawn directly on top of the player during the start of a new wave.

The highscore system is really cool! I wish I had implemented that on my submission, it'd definitely fit the asteroids style of game to have something similar.

This game was really cool. I enjoyed the visuals a lot and thought that the game concept and look was very original.

I really enjoyed spamming missiles across the screen. If only we give real life missile defense systems infinite ammo...

I had a lot of fun with your game. I spent most of the time playing spamming back and forth making the character dance to the music. I swear I made it to 2 minutes and 50 seconds but it didn't save that highscore for some reason. Really awesome concept and good use of the limitation.

This is one of the most fun games I've played this jam, I wish more of the submissions had cheese. Actually I wish I had cheese right now. You did great with the platforming on this one though it can be a bit difficult and take quite a few tries on some levels. Challenging but still fun and the art and concept are great.

Love the grapple mechanics! You did a great job on this, very fun and creative.

Looks awesome! I love the DECISION text, that's my favorite part. The idea of lunar wizards is pretty great and creative.

My highscore is 60200! I challenge everyone to try and beat it!

Also make sure you use shift to activate your shield when you're in a pinch!

Sorry if the game is slightly offcenter on some displays. I couldn't get that to be fixed before the game jam ended. Hope you enjoy the game!
