Thank you for playing!

Oh wow! I am really glad you liked the game! I loved yours :D

Yeah there is a lot to improve here and a tutorial definitely is one of the most important thing to add.

Thank you for your feedback!

Can't believe I missed that haha

Thank you so much!

One of the best games I have played this jam in terms of polish.  LOVE the artstyle, and I am quite like the sound design as well. The only issue is that it is not clear what determines how much the bar fills.

Thank you so much!

I agree! We playtested it just a little bit and the feedback can be summed up to: "Oh cute dogs!" immediately followed by "How the f*** do you play this?!" hahaha

That's my favourite out of all the games I have played for this jam yet! Amazing work!

Impressive for a first project! Love that there are different enemies ^^

Since you asked for feedbak and tips, here is a thought: right now there is no drawback to charging the fireball. Maybe slowing down the character a little while charging a fireball could add some risk/reward aspect?

But as I said, it's a very nice game!

Pretty impressive that you made this in just 10 hours! I especially LOVE the intro animation :D

It would be nice to have instructions on how to play on the game page. As is, it is quite hard to figure out how the game works :(

I am not a fan of the fishing part of the game, but I really liked to stock market graphs for the price of the fish! Well done!

You have to zoom out. I struggled to make it work as well.

I didn't have time to put the answers when submitting the game (I had 27 seconds left O_o) So I'll do it here:

How does the game fit the theme?
You constantly have to choose whether you are going for a dog that gives less biscuit but is easier to satisfy,or a dog that gives more but is moredemanding.

Initially we wanted to add rewards for completing harder dogs, but we ran out of time.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
It's all homemade using Godot !

Thank you!

Thank you !
Yeah the game is definitely missing a tutorial ^^'

I love the title screen and the game over screen!

The art style is so pretty! I also love the little "yum"s :)

I agree! We unfortunately ran out of time :(

Thank you! I'll tell the artist, she will love to hear that you liked it!

The game looks like it has potential but I can't for the life of me find out how to catch a fish.

Hello !

Great game!
I'm quite impressed with the level of polish.
The sound design works well, the visual effects are neat, and the gameplay is simple and engaging.
I believe you can get soft locked though.
PS: I love the design of the little red creature.

It's an interesting idea and it works.
I feel like the gameplay is lacking either depth or challenge though. Once you understand the core concept, it becomes quite repetitive pretty fast.
Still, for a game made in 48h it's pretty nice!

I really like the concept! A tower defence where you can fly above the battleground is a nice idea!

Thank you for the experience.

I wasn't able to make the bonsai blossom, but I really loved playing this.

I especially love the music.

Nice little game! I was especially impressed by the intro!

Adapting Reigns into an educational game about ecology is an interesting idea!

The links between decisions and the 3 stats are not always logical to me though. I love how some choices come with a little explanation and I feel like having more of those could be a good way to help the player understand why a certain decision has the consequences it has in the game.

Also, the city view doesn't really reflect what's happening in-game. For example, there was a point where I banned all cars, yet the cars were still present in the city screen.

I especially love title screen. That way the camera moves is nice!

I do think the concept has potential.

It would be nice to have more info on what each stat does. For example, I get that having a higher Atk or Def makes it more likely to win combat, but I have no idea how exactly, which makes every decision a bit empty as of now. Same goes with Heads and Farmers. I get they make the auto harvest faster, but I don't know how they work in detail.

Loved it!

Nice little game ! I especially liked the musics ! I wish they were a bit longer though :)

Small note: the fact that there can only be one projectile on the screen at a time makes the cooldown variable, which feels a little off in my opinion. This also encourages the player to hug the boss and spam the attack.

The bubble shower at the end is a great idea! It really felt like a reward after the struggle to catch them during the boss fights.

There probably are a few ways in which you could improve the game, but I still enjoyed it as is! Thanks for the experience!

Nice little game ! Sound effects and music would really add something in my opinion, but the game is fun to play already ! Good job !

Love it!

This is a very, very interesting game! I confess I haven't gone far in the game because this kind of puzzle is not my cup of tea, but the core idea of switching between planes is very well implemented! It is quite refreshing to play!

Wow ! The art is wonderful! I really like the ambiance you managed to create!
The transition between each hour is especially impressive imo !

What a nice game !

The visuals are quite impressive, and I really like the way the radar displays and its sound design!

The coal management is a nice touch! However,I can't help but feel like the ability to stop takes away from the tension of having to leave the wheel to refill the furnace.

I really enjoyed playing it!
