Many people have been commenting about not being able to land well which is on us for not making it more clear. There’s a strict cutoff for ‘perfect’ landings after which you’ll preserve all your speed. But all ‘ok’ landings aren’t made the same (can be anywhere from 50% to 99.99999% preserved speed). In fact likely most of your ‘ok’ landings preserve 90%+ of your speed. Regardles, thanks for playing the game and we’re glad you liked the theme!

Absolutely fire (and dare I say slick) gameplay. The visuals and shitpost commitment are phenomenal as well. Hearing that fuckass scream every time you lose is peak. One of the best I've played in the jam so far!

Loved the art and puzzles. To me everything felt intuitive and smooth which is great for a point and click game. Big Tony was no match for Will Slick.

The gameplay, visuals, and music all went together super well! I know there are other games in this style, but it first reminded me of the kart racing from Everhood.

Like others have mentioned, I wish the spawn distance of obstacles was further since I didn't really feel encouraged to move or dodge them. I ended up just sitting just to the right of the center line the whole time since I could easily avoid a car by just going left and the slippery obstacles were a lot less punishing.

Dust bunny for the win

I'm honestly super into the movement and mechanics of this game (minus being able to run into the object you're holding). I wish there were more levels!

This game is crazy good! So good I'm not even mad the controls are Z, X, and C. Very much deserving of a perfect rating.

Superb sound effects! In the tutorial I thought the movement was gonna end up being a pain but the parkour ended up being a lot more fun and forgiving than I thought. Like someone else said, I found sticky mode be a lot more fun and useful since you had a lot less control in slick mode.

Holy polished! This game is awesome and one of the best in the jam I've played so far

Loved the game! Great visuals, gameplay, and one-liners. By the end I figured out how to turn the cart on its side and just vacuum up stuff.

Absolutely fire music and sound design; I kept getting called out for trying to trick too early. That is one slick ice cube.

Getting 7 items in this game using the basket is harder than beating Dark Souls blindfolded. Despite this I honestly had a great time playing; it was really funny to have all your progress destroyed by another shopper. Things clipping out of the basket for no reason when you sprint or move weird was annoying though and basically makes using the basket infeasible.

Thanks for the reassuring comment :) and we're really glad you enjoyed the game.

Fun premise for a game and a very solid first game! Controls felt smooth and in-control as well.

The biggest drawbacks I felt were the lack of auditory and visual clarity. Sounds would've been great to know when cars spawn and when you've slipped one up; audio cues are very important to the feel of a game. Visually, the background was drab which made it hard to intuitively gauge where you can and can't drive.

The platforming feels good and I love the concept of having to juggle transitioning to all the three states of matter. The speed run aspect also was very enjoyable. Didn't feel too easy to get a great time nor did it feel like I was banking on luck or frame-perfect jumps. Cheers!

Very funky and fun racing game. Turns out to beat the dev time you don't need any boosts, only slick turns!

Despite what others are saying, I thought the movement was pretty slick! I do wish I could've ran faster though without wave dashing.

Very fun gameplay loop! Even after failing a wave I felt like I was learning and getting better. A few QOL changes would make the game even more fun
