I hope so, too, but I'm very excited to get back into the swing of things!

Aaaaa, I'm so sorry for the late reply!! I've been dealing with some health issues on-and-off recently, and my job has been taking up most of my time, but I'm finally getting back around to working on the script! The game's decision tree has received a slight update, so it's a lot longer now that originally planned, but I think it will allow for more varied character moments. 🥰
I agree! I've found some really helpful information on there (and code I've used for some of my other projects hehe). I just worry that the scope I have envisioned for the game may be a bit... too much for a solo developer. 😅 Though, I did recently play Scarlet Hollow, and knowing that particular VN was practically made by a team of just two people has given me the hope that, perhaps, I can do this. Lol
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL OF THE SUPPORT YOU'VE SHOWN ME!!! Hopefully I'll be able to finish all of the games within a somewhat reasonable amount of time. 😂 I was like, "well, I only have three stories I want to make into VNs, so I might as well just post something about all of them now." Lmao
This one is more "traditional" horror-focused than my other one, with an emphasis on blood/gore/violence/etc... I've been practicing body horror on and off for about a year now, and it was all practice for this particular story. 😎
I usually worked on it for 30-40 minutes every night for two months! I wanted the sprites to have a traditional-art feel to them, so I didn't worry about making them clean or polished/made their color schemes monochromatic to lessen the stress of color picking. For the backgrounds, I used photographs I took on my phone and slapped them in a photo art effect app (I didn't want to draw backgrounds lmao). Though, I was only able to complete 2 of the 5 routes, so it's my goal to finish the rest after this semester is over. 😤
THANK YOUUU!!! This was the visual novel I worked on for my thesis! Each of the characters is based on the DSM-5 criteria of MDD, and the MC's relationship with each character mirrors my own experiences/thoughts regarding that particular symptom! Since this is a smaller-scale project, and I'm hoping to finish writing it after I graduate, I thought I would go ahead and share it now hehe!
