Bro, I'm SICK of AI... I'm so sorry to hear it messed up your code, but it's so exciting to hear day 1 is almost done!

Thank you!

I agree! I've found some really helpful information on there (and code I've used for some of my other projects hehe). I just worry that the scope I have envisioned for the game may be a bit... too much for a solo developer. 😅 Though, I did recently play Scarlet Hollow, and knowing that particular VN was practically made by a team of just two people has given me the hope that, perhaps, I can do this. Lol

I ordered some books on coding and the like recently, so I'm hoping to improve my skills in that regard!! I have a lot of ideas in mind for this game, but now I have to focus on figuring out how to actually implement them. 😅

Thank youuu!!! I've been working hard on refining the character designs recently. 💪🏻😤

Working in grayscale is a smart move, though!! I think it makes the process a lot easier since you have the values and you can add the color at a later point (color is the bane of my existence lol).

I love the environment design!! There's nothing quite like making progress on a project you're passionate about, too; it's such a wonderful feeling! <3

I'm super excited to see what this update has in store for us!! (≧▽≦)

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL OF THE SUPPORT YOU'VE SHOWN ME!!! Hopefully I'll be able to finish all of the games within a somewhat reasonable amount of time. 😂 I was like, "well, I only have three stories I want to make into VNs, so I might as well just post something about all of them now." Lmao

This one is more "traditional" horror-focused than my other one, with an emphasis on blood/gore/violence/etc... I've been practicing body horror on and off for about a year now, and it was all practice for this particular story. 😎

Oh, geez... that is a lot of work. 😭 I wish you all the best in this endeavor. 💪🏻

Thank you!! I'm a sucker for mixed-media games. 🤭

Oh, I feel that... on the plus side, though, it looks awesome!! The visuals are going to be on point. 👌🏻

The rendering on the character's hair looks soooo good!

I usually worked on it for 30-40 minutes every night for two months! I wanted the sprites to have a traditional-art feel to them, so I didn't worry about making them clean or polished/made their color schemes monochromatic to lessen the stress of color picking. For the backgrounds, I used photographs I took on my phone and slapped them in a photo art effect app (I didn't want to draw backgrounds lmao). Though, I was only able to complete 2 of the 5 routes, so it's my goal to finish the rest after this semester is over. 😤

THANK YOUUU!!! This was the visual novel I worked on for my thesis! Each of the characters is based on the DSM-5 criteria of MDD, and the MC's relationship with each character mirrors my own experiences/thoughts regarding that particular symptom! Since this is a smaller-scale project, and I'm hoping to finish writing it after I graduate, I thought I would go ahead and share it now hehe!

I saw your page on TikTok, and I loved being able to see your process/progress with your visual novel. When I saw that, I thought "wow - that's such a smart idea! I'd love to do that, too!!", so I'm going to start using my TikTok a bit more now!

AAAAHH, thank you!!! I think I'm going to start making some TikToks here and there as well to see if that helps promote the game a little bit! Your page has inspired me. 😌

I didn't know about that difference with degrees, so that's really neat!! Thank you for sharing and for the kind words! I wish you luck in your studies as well. 🫡

I'm supposed to graduate in December with my Master's, so hopefully after that, I can get a less-stressful job in my field. My current job, as much as I love it, just isn't for me. 🥲

Thank you, thank you!!! Hopefully, after I'm finished with college-related work, I'll have more time to pour into getting the first chapter/demo out. I'm making progress, though, slowly but surely. 💪🏻

AAAAA - thank you!! I'm excited to show off everything I have planned for the game in the demo/first chapter. 🥰
