This was an enjoyable game for me, even if some of the puzzles I still don't fully understand the logic behind (looking at you art room, and just how the 'gold' dye got made).  Sometimes you just start selecting everything and combining stuff hoping it triggers the solution.  Your main companion, the Possessed Spell Book Beatrice, reminds me a lot of Metallia from The Witch and the Hundred Knight.  Similar personality, lot cleaner mouth.  I didn't really find the clues helpful, taking a break and coming back to the game after a good sleep with a fresh mind was better.

Was not expecting that final sequence/battle. It was actually kinda annoying.

I ended up finishing this on the PS4, and that took a bit of the enjoyment out for me.  PS4 version gets 3 stars for clunky controls.  Lack of cursor means you have to cycle through all locations/options everytime you want to do something.  During my second attempt at the final room I had to restart because I got a glitch that wouldn't let me select anything on the left side of the screen.
