I was going to add evidence but the code was making an error and time was running out so i cut it and add the secret on the bottom right drawer.

If I made a visual novel that you control the character in a simple side scroller would it no longer count. Or if it has branches like close a or b would it still count as a visual novel?

I was wondering because I was doing a story and then another idea hit me and now I can't choose between them.

I was wondering would making a demo be fine cus i started my story and made it a bit to long and big for my current laptop and the time limit and my over all capabilities.  But I really want to just show off my idea.

Any game put up within like 6 hours is most likely ai bs or a game they made are were just waiting for this or any jam
