You cant pick up a new gun while you still have a gun in hands, you need to throw your current gun away(by holding the fire button when there is no ammo left).  Only then you will be able to pick up a new gun

I unfortunately didnt have enough time to make a web export(because im relatively new at this and i had very little time left).  And also you cant pick up a new gun while you still have a gun in hands, you need to throw your current gun away(by holding the fire button when there is no ammo left). Maybe that wasnt the best game design decision tho :)
