I would say this is more of a storybook than a game BUT a gorgeous one at that. It reminds me a lot of slay the princess. Good stuff

This reminds me of the old newgrounds games, in a good way! Was a little confused with the way you choose if it is a mimic or not, may just need a bit more feedback like a noise or something but apart from that. Fun little game!

I feel this game has promise! ... but I got confused awfully fast sadly, I feel there needs to be some sort of indicator on screen when you can press to look back and forth because I couldn't seem to do that half the time for some reason, though that might be a browser problem. Love the artstyle though

Had a quick go of it and got fairly far, the gameplay loop is simple yet great!

My only feedback is there being some sort of feedback for the boat fella being shun upon before getting hit in the water but apart from that, I understood it quickly and its just plain fun

Thank you for the feedback! and we were thinking of adding a phase 2/3 where the level changes but sadly we didn't have time.

We also where mainly doing teamwork test for future projects. However I will consider coming back to the project in the future taking in account to yall lovely feedback, none the less I had fun doing this game jam!

I also appreciate getting feedback on my work too so thank you!

Sadly no you cannot choose which direction they come from. However there is a top down attack which is like a laser beam

This was just more a test working within a group to see our strengths and weaknesses

The idea however one day I'll consider coming back to, maybe not in Christmas form but your ideas of more attacks is a good idea, I was even thinking of like a phase 2/3 where the stage changes as you go along but we didn't have time

I really enjoyed the game jam though! It pushed me to get something done over the holidays which is great
