I uninstalled and then deleted the game before downloading and installing it again. I also used the game settings to lower resolution and frame rate to see if that would do anything. Unfortunately, nothing worked and the movement control freezing problem persists for me. I genuinely don't have a clue what's causing it.
I've been suffering a recurring problem with the Android version of the game. It's occured on two different devices. Sometimes after a cutscene or animation, the movement control freezes and the player can't move at all. The only way I've found to fix this is to exit the game and then exit the app entirely. This does result in missing out on character interactions however since character sprites don't load back in (e.g. defeat Elite Goblin, cutscene plays, movement freezes, exit app, return, Riley and Skeleton Guard are gone).
