the intro to the game is very funny!! i like the reference. i wish there was a little more feedback when hitting and parrying; some indicators would be nice. idt the initial enemies should be able to stick on top of you after you get hit since the enemies can kill you from full health very quickly; an enemy stagger on hit would fix this. the boss projectiles are very fast and can hit you in the starting area , which is very annoying, especially since the visual response time is very quick. adding some indicator like the missiles in jetpack joyride would prob fix this issue. also early levels can be cheesed by sitting in the spawn room. overall good game!!!!!

really love the art style of the main character and the general premise of the game!! i thought it was going to be chill so i kind of panicked near the middle LOL but that was probably my fault. this was a cool mechanic though it might be nice to relax the main mechanic at times and have some other minigame to do in sections for some added stimulation. really liked this

THIS IS SO CUTE!!! love a good vn and a good office romance. i also really liked the mini games and the incorporation of the wheel. i was actually going to do something similar for the initiation of conversations in my game as well but didn't get time to do it so i'm glad i actually got to experience it!!!

thank you!!!

thank you for playing :)

thank you!!

the polish in this game is unbelievable! i could not progress far in the city. wow i am really bad at this jump mechanic but it was really lovely overall. if u ever make a um slightly more approachable version i'd love to play again

super polished and fun to play!! i LOVE the ambient noise of the trading floor. i couldn't figure out how to select upgrades though :( so i always ended up choosing the first option. i also think it would be interesting to find ways to vary gameplay after a couple of rounds, e.g. changing the stock peaks/valleys, giving the user some other considerations to keep in mind.

like most of the comments i am also terrible at this game BUT i love the idea and the aesthetics of the whole thing are fantastic!!! for some reason i also found it hard to context switch between the keyboard and the mouse; maybe if this is a common thread among other players it would be nice to simplify the keys used (e.g. to just ASD or something). if u guys re-release post jam i'd love to play :)

super cute and very funny dialogue!! loved the quick pace of responses i really felt like it captured feeling of bantering over text :>

THIS WAS SO FUN!!! i'll be the first to admit i don't usually play platformers but this was so charming i had to persist!! and making a cake is such a cute twist on it!! took a couple of attempts but i'm glad our spider overlord enjoyed the final product.

super funny story and very goofy main character! i suck at combat based games so i didn't make it very far but the mechanics were pretty fun :)

SUPER cool mechanic though it look me a bit to get used to! i think for me the difficulty ramped up slightly too fast but i see how it could be cool for players with better reaction times. great use of the spin!!!

thank you for playing :)

super satisfying to play!! really love the visuals and sounds; it was all a very hypnotic experience. i thought i did okay but WOW the high scores on the leaderboard are. much higher

i really enjoyed the idea for the core mechanic, but i was having a little trouble with the spinning and in general the mouse sensitivity when looking around (this was in browser because i have a mac) . nevertheless, would love to play more if u expand on it in the future!!

so cute and super polished!! i agree w the commenter below that it's not too idle due to the feeding hamster mechanism; it might be interesting to have the ability to buy an autofeeder or something if the goal is to make an idle game. i also didn't know what the threshold was for exploding the hamsters, so i didn't really use the cat as much after i bought it (maybe a progress bar to show time until exploding hamster)? great job overall

this game was so straightforward and so well-executed! loved the art and sound and luckily i managed to sentence almost everyone appropriately (except the war criminal which was. um. an issue of the sentencing order)

so funny and so fun to play! i think eating the pizza was more of a issue for me that i anticipated just because it took so long, but other than that, it is such a good time.

i'm still super iffy on the timer but thank you for playing in general!!

really loved the word-based spinning mechanic! i was not really sure why specific combos of words i chose were successful or unsuccessful, though i think i might have been missing a lot of the game since i had to play on web (i'm on mac). interested to see the full thing if you expand upon it in the future!

super cute idea and i love the growing soundtrack! i wasn't really sure what i was supposed to be doing so i was just swiveling around and spam clicking. i agree w bobinsgames that it might be nice to have a finite number of "bullets" that you aim towards each member of the orchestra. really good job!

THANK YOU FOR PLAYING!! more content hopefully soon :)

yeah totally valid and i need to figure out a way to balance the plead/gaslight mechanics. i was also hoping to make a complicated enough tree to not hit the same dialogue options too often but ran out of time :( thank you for playing!!

thank you for playing!!

ooh that's a good idea i'll keep that in mind!! thanks for the feedback and thank you for playing!

thank you for your kind words and for playing!!!

it was meant to be!! THANK YOU FOR PLAYING!!

oh man i think if you're using firefox, there might be an issue :( chrome seems to work but someone else who played my game used firefox and there were issues unfortunately

hi never came back and said that this really helped!! still wasn't great at it but it was SO fun and so satisfying to hit those parries

thank you so much and thank you for playing!!

makes total sense that's something i wasn't sure about as well!! thanks for playing!!

thank you sm and thanks for playing :)

(1 edit)

HOLY SHIT!! this was like playing a fully developed game on wii -- so incredible, so nostalgic. the bots completely destroyed me but i enjoyed every second! also the music is fantastic. please make a full game in this style.

i thought this was really cute and satisfying to play!! i think there could be more mushrooms and more coins throughout the flying progression, because once i'd spammed all my abilities and was mostly in the air there was nothing for me to do in the game. i also was unsure of how to control my movement once i was up in the air, so i couldn't exactly get to the target, but went far beyond!!

so valid i think making the text autocomplete is a feature i should have had and my first post-jam todo!! thanks for playing!!

thank you!!!

thank you so much :)

LOL when i was drawing him i was like wait a minute .....

hi!! yeah right now it's a little ambiguous whether ur doing the right thing; i need to give the characters proper reactions and give the players more feedback in general. thank you for playing!!
