Thank you for playing our game and the compliment we appreciate it greatly!!! It is supposed to be a cyberpunk rendition of Carl from ATHF I'm glad you picked that up even without seeing the show that means it was a success! x ) Thank you again for trying it out and reviewing our game!!!

Thank you so much for the kind words and for playing our game it means a lot!! fixing the shotgun and knockback were definitely some things we wanted to add but just didn't have the time to, will definitely add it in & fix it up when we revisit this 100%. Thank you though my background is in music primarily so I'm really glad you liked the soundtrack!!! Thank you again!!!! :>

Had so much fun playing this! It reminds me of the end credits laser minigame from super smash bros melee! knocked it out on my second try with an S rank and it felt really good to challenge myself to take out more enemies on the second time around, the controls felt really smooth and the enemies and aesthetic are super cute!! Music and sounds all sounded really good together too and were very vibey with the beachy aesthetic! :) Great work on this!!

This game entry is soooo cool! It gave me so many nostalgia vibes from the badass sega genesis sounding soundtrack to the gamecube style explosion effects and old school looking mecha designs. I was eating so good every second I was playing it! I also absolutely adore the cast of characters and the weapon choices, I was really happy with how the UI was set up and had the mini map, my character icon, and my weapon all together on it and unobtrusive to the view. The sounds all sounded so good and were EQ'd well with the soundtrack. I'm somewhat of a mortar and mini-rocket enjoyer myself and just had so much fun with how satisfying the explosions felt, all the enemy types, and navigating the level designs in each stage. Great job on this I'm a big fan!!!

I had so much fun playing this! I love the concept of the robots piloting meat for it's benefits in comparison it's such a cute idea! the characters are all so well designed and the gameplay was really enjoyable, I'm normally not a fan of dungeon crawlers with a stam system but I found myself enjoying moving around the dungeon and actually wanting to fight the enemies as opposed to my usual "avoid all encounters and speedrun it" tactic i find myself doing in the genre usually. x) the consume function for the gear was really creative and made me actually think about which items to keep and which to eat. almost felt like poe with organizing them in the inventory too. Overall had a blast playing this and for the game jam this is just such an incredible entry with mesmerizing aesthetics and a sick soundtrack. all the sounds were EQ'd so well too i didnt even have to touch the volume control! Truly well done I love it!!! Very polished!

Thank you so much for the kind words!!! He is VERY akin to Sidorovich fr that's a great catch. xD and a mini map is a great idea! I would love to implement that if we continue this project, which we are definitely tossing the idea around to work on this further! I really appreciate you checking it out and reviewing it truly means a lot!!!

Yeah the wave logic is based on enemy death but sometimes its been registering a single kill as multiple but usually very rarely which can cause the problem you ran into. I'm not sure how bug fixing works for the jam but I would definitely be down to go back in and give it some TLC! I'm glad you caught the reference for the junk boss though!!! xD The game gave me a sort of ATHF vibe so I thought it would be a cute thing to add x) I wanted to get a health bar that hovers over the junk shop as well, if we are able to go back and work further on our games either after the jam or even now I would love to do so!! This being my first jam and second game ever I'm still very new to it all. Thank you so much for the feedback and assistance though, I greatly appreciate you checking it out!!!

Wow I absolutely love the art style and that you chose a real-life event to retell the story of. The audio was a bit loud at times and the combat can be kind of difficult but I was able to complete both stories! Incredible work on implementing your hand-drawn art into sprites and the story-telling with the cutscenes and imagery, the mechs and characters are so cool! I can't say enough how much I am a fan of your artwork outside the game as well. Well done and keep it up!

Thank you so much for trying it out we appreciate that greatly!! I was calling it a sort of junkyard/trap-house/grungy MSDOS aesthetic it is quite different, I haven't done pixel art before so it was all new to me. x) Thank you again though it means a lot!!!

I love the mech design so much and the concept for a package delivery game with the throwing mechanic is super cute, big fan well done! everything works pretty well too and feels good, weight of the mech and physics of throwing, no bugs ran into in my session. :)

first couple times had to restart, spawned out of the map first time and then randomly teleported to an area i was stuck in the second time. super eerie vibe though kind of horror-y, i love the feel of piloting the mech and being able to look around and check for enemies while youre drilling.  enemies are really spooky and i like how alien everything felt while also seeming like theyre just creatures that live here.

Love the art style in this and the combat! Controls felt really cool to maneuver once i got the hang of it. Really nice work on this!

Love the art style! Ran into a couple bugs that stopped me from progressing with walking into walls or starting combat from the wrong angle. but it's a very creative idea, super eerie definitely my style :)
