Yo nice retro game artwork :) 

I just wanted to come back and comment on this entry, wich is definitely one of the most original and fascinating ones I've played. I've been through it twice. The sound design is great and gross, as is the artwork, and its definitely one of the most creative entries I've seen. Also top marks for narrative. I like weird stuff :p

Yeah this was enjoyable, atmosphere, narrative all good etc. pretty comprehensible from the start. I had a slight frustration to not be able to dig upwards  ? But tbh I'm playing on trackpad so probably its my fault. I also wasn't sure what the green bar was going down for sometimes? Is it like energy + life 

Anyway, cool entry, well done

This definitely  has something but I'm confused

Congrats on your submission, this is quite fun! The core mechanics are a good idea with the energy constraint + timer. The movements work but they feel a but "jumpy" or sensitive, which is a feel, but  you could try slowing it down slightly perhaps? Idk. The artwork is a bit rudimentary but if you develop further, I do like the running animation where the legs turn into a circle it's quite funny and I haven't seen it before. Even in demo form you run out of energy too fast to get into the game imo, even extending it with upgrades (though ofc that's also the length of the level, so whatever). There's also no explanation for the objects you can choose from, for a new user this is a little confusing. 
 

TLDR :The core concepts definitely work.  if you focused on the artwork a bit, extended the energy count and added some basic audio effects (never underestimate the power of audio) this would be immediately fun. 

They're using chatgpt yeah, you can tell by the sycophantic tone and the use of "—" dashes that no one ever uses irl. Should be banned tbh

This is a unique twist on a racing game in terms of mechanics, and the atmosphere is v cool

Cool little game, I especially like the artwork. Like the commenter below me, I also can't figure out why I keep getting game over though? When my bag is empty am I supposed to go back along the main road ? 

This went a few places I wasn't expecting. 

Dropping the new dogs on cues straight up put a grin on my face, and the children's book-style art was perfect for the theme (and the existential twist)

Great game, started slow but didn't have a dull moment after that!

Very cute! I love that the failure state is the cat wanting to play with you!

I ran into one critical bug though: What's the cat's name?

We found that allowing Jerry Clones™ to play this game on their down time increased their satisfaction and job performance by at least 43%. Jerries consistently complimented the mechanics, narrative, creativity and artwork of the game, but found that they sometimes got stuck and had to restart when they fell down to the lower levels, We were unable to determine whether the Jerries getting stuck were suboptimal or if the level design needed some tweaking.

Banger idle game, the fast pacing is ideal for a jam game and the evolving soundtrack really adds a lot to the experience.

Great little game, took me a while to understand how to go about things but it was fun and reactive. Love that you could loop the lions away along with the sheep.

Great game! The scope is short and sweet which is nice for a jam game, and the art (And 3d map with indicators) are very impressive!

Great job!  You made it look easy ;)

PS: I do wonder what the initial plan with the unicorn was :p

Very atmospheric, sort of abstract and uneasy. Not sure if I understood the puzzle ? Felt like I was just wandering along and getting lost lol. Good job ! 

Cute racing game, mechanics are slidy but I'd say that's part of the feel, you get used to it and you get better, which means they're decently tight! It was enjoyable.  Maybe this is just me but I have trouble reading the track directions lol 

That was a great little demo. Cool concept, good atmosphere, good artwork, narrative emerges nicely, just roundly well executed. Well done and thanks :) 

lol yours felt way more polished to me than ours, we pulled an all nighter and it still feels like it's coming apart at the seams, your pixel art is so clean, no back view for the sprite would be my only criticism if I'm really picking at stuff, we have no decorations and our assets and perspectives are off :p

Hey this was pretty addictive little platformer, and the mechanics are pretty so well done on that. After trying for quite a while I've currently ragequit the final challenge. However, I could see that I was getting better with each run, which means that it's more on me than on you :p. I may return because I don't like unfinished things :p 

As someone stuck in this cycle of looking for a job, this hit close to home, and it was  therapeutic and poetic, thanks. 

Time is definitely lacking in these projects, I have to say. It was also our first and we pulled an all nighter tying things up and crashed out very hard the next day lol, I've heard it's common

Man, this game is hard and unforgiving, but the janky physics ends up being part of the fun. Keep it going :)
