AMAZING!! Glad this made it into the RootJam this year 馃憦 I can only echo what others have said about this faction - really clear design and gameplay whilst also matching the law of OG Root. Can't wait to actually try this one out in a game! 

Love the interactive elements for all factions, and the creative use of the VIP theme- very original. 

The artwork is just 馃敟! A real tribute to Kyle Ferrin. Your TTS pieces are looking so good too

I haven't viewed all of the submissions this year, but this one is definitely up there for me as a winning contender. Fantastic work fraaab.

The artwork is so cool! Like others have said already, i really enjoyed reading the backstory to the imperial squirrels, love the link to a faraway galaxy... ;) 

Really like the Shellbreak mechanism, adds a really interesting interactive element for other players to interfere with this faction. 

Might just be me, but the card draw seems a bit OP. 

Really cool design! Satisfyingly huge acorn cannon. Would be fun to have this monster lingering in the forests during the game!

I agree that the artwork is really cool! Great work overall! This idea is very fun and creative, adding a wild drunken killer party to the world of Root. I'm not sure how effective the game mechanics would be for allowing your monk monkeys to score well in the games when playing alongside other factions, only game testing would let us know for sure! But reading your design idea was very refreshing to the palate!
