I don't know why but I can't see jacksh** in this game. Had to quit because I couldn't tell where anything was, turned and walked where I thought it made sense, tried pressing the use button everywhere. Nothing. :-/
EDIT: I gave it another go. I think the lamp needs a clearer indicator that the player is the one turning it and that it can be moved again. A slight creaking noise might help.
Also, finished the game now. Lovely little scares, thank you. :)
FRUSTRATED AT FIRST
I've walked around for like... 5-10 minutes and have no clue what I'm doing wrong. I have tried opening the door several times, walked around everywhere, tried looking into every window, opening the door (that doesn't even have an icon) on the back, walking to both invisible walls of the street. Just retried walking everywhere and looking where into both forest sides etc. now. I'm just gonna' look at somebody else play because this makes no sense to me. :(
NOTE ON THE ROCK
I think my brain didn't even register the rock as a 3D object, it just melded in with the ground for me. Oh well. Good Youtubers are a thing. I would make it a bit more visible, maybe put it in the back to compensate or have some atmosphere build up while still making it easier to "identify" so to speak.
SPOOKS
The first visible demon lady gave me a little scare, then you got me real good with the "clicking the light switch on and off until AAAAAH" moment.The ending wasn't very spooky but I was relieved not to get spooked anymore. xD "No cheap jumpscares" is like, opposite of what this was xD
