I really liked the overall concept and idea.

However, I couldn't really feel the emergency in the situation due to the lack of audio and feedback overall. It lacked a little "oomph" that would have really helped sell the concept, along with a more satisfying player controller.

I had fun nonetheless and congrats on the entry!

Nice interpretation of the theme. The visual feedbacks on hits are satisfying but the flashing white on the fully black background can be a bit overpowering.

I wished the controls could be improved somehow in the upgrades, as it is right now, I feel like I cannot "get good at the game" (but maybe I'm just that bad :D)

Had fun playing this nonetheless and congrats on your game!

The atmosphere and vibes are insanely good, the audio is just trippy.

Awesome entry!

Hey thank you for playing it!

(just saw you on chat stream and thanks for your kind words there as well ;) )

Thank you so much for playing our game and enjoying it <3

Thanks a lot!

Thanks so much for the kind words and for playing our game!

It's a common experience from what I've seen :D

Thanks for playing our game

The visuals are great! Fun cosy game :)

Cute idea :)

I really liked the concept, leading to short burst games!

My monkey brain really struggled to do smart moves though. I'm definitely trying to play this on local multiplayer when I get the chance!

The game has a really nice atmosphere and a mechanic that fits well with the theme. I enjoyed playing through it a couple of times!

However I feel like the melancholic idea of time flowing kinda clashes with the more cartoonish "toss the camel into the meat grinder" .

Thank you for playing our game and for your review :)

The second boss has a diffrent behavior than the first one with a slightly different animation but I can clearly see your point and maybe even a color swapped version would have been enough :)

Nice fit with the theme.

I had some issue with the controls, the character felt a little slippery. I also had a hard time seeing whether or not i was touching the numbers.

great job overall :)

The cartoon physics of ramming into a tree is so fun and so was the reference to the infamous rainbow road :)

So effective, everything just clicks to create the perfect "f** it we ball" atmosphere!

Had so much fun playing it!

Really nice interpretation on the count down theme., very ambitious proposition. It's too bad you didn't get to design more levels!

Had fun playing it!

Key was the last item I got in a round then when it reshuffled I got the door :)

Nice game!

I had a run where I the key and the door appeared at the same time very early on which can damage the experience. Also the ankh object was kinda OP for me on a second run. I think it could use a balancing pass, but I had a great time playing through it a couple of times!

Also the VFX and visuals in general were 🔥

Thank you for playing our game!

Nice game.

Maybe I missed it but I feel like it would be snappier if I could use the keyboard to redraw cards.

Cool visuals!

I dont know if it's a browser (I'm on Firefox) issue, but my cooldown indicator was leaving screen when i moved left.

Cool vampire survivor like with a nice twist to tie it to the countdown theme.

It could use more horizontal progression, but was already fun to play as is!

Simple and effective gameplay.

I feel like the auto-collectors are underwhelming, the only reason i was taking them was to unlock better upgrades. I was kinda hoping to know how many rounds it took for me to beat the game at the end!

Thank you for playing our game!

That's so nice, thank you for playing!

Thank you so much! We'd gladly take the buck fifty!

Thank you for playing!

I don't know if we would have survived making contents for 30 more minutes without putting our own hearts on countdown too 😂

Really fun game :) too hard for me though!

Fun game!

The last wave is kinda easy since the one just before spawns so many villagers that you get to fully refill! Had so much fun playing it :)

Super fun game with crazy combo potential :)

Thanks for your comment! :)

The artstyle is so cute and effective! Had a fun time playing through it.

Fun game with a nice polish level!

The moody visuals and atmosphere are great!

I don't really get how the gameplay loop fits into the theme, but I had fun playing it. I ended up spamming Precise strike as it was usually enough to win clashes against most enemies' attacks though.

Very enjoyable experience nonetheless!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed our game!

I kinda see your point about about the upgrade system. We wanted to tie everything to the countdown mechanics to further incentivize riskier gameplay (collecting bodies more quickly, gambling on health in shops...).

Thanks!

Cool game! Some remarks ideas:

- Shield felt a bit too OP, i was always had it on and just brute-forced my way through. Maybe consider increasing the cost of it, or adding a cooldown?

- Having a quick use button for the spells (1/2/3) might make the game feel more dynamic.

- Ramp up the difficulty more at the end, adding a swarm of red penguins!
