This was way more fun than I expected it to be and the audio was such a good bop. Some of the mechanics weren’t completely obvious. For instance, I was halfway through losing before I realized there was a stacking mechanic and instead of throwing out fish I could have just stacked them. But overall, this was really great!

I’m over here crying now but it is fine. Such a good concept and I loved the 8 bit style with it.

The controls feel a little weird to me because they aren’t standard. It has a lot of potential though!

This was so much fun to play! The underwater vibes are immaculate and the fish movement is so good.

You all did a great job with the limitation and theme! And the gameplay is good, just needs a few tweaks. Most of the feedback I have has already been mentioned though. Well done!

I had so much fun playing this! The seagull character art took me out, haha! I saw in another comment where you said you were a first timer. You did such a great job for your first time! The game feels really polished and smooth.

Such a good concept and so well done! I played it at least four times before I remembered I have more games to rate. Your team did such a great job on this one!

Super funny story. I cackled when his sister got caught! The audio is a touch loud but overall great work!

This was so much fun to play. The art is lovely and the gameplay feels really good and polished. The haggling aspect with the customers was a fun mechanic to add when you are selling the fish. Well done!

I really like how immersive this was. I did get stuck on the puzzle after the bridge but overall it’s a really cute concept. The art style reminds me of animal crossing a little but is still really unique. Well done!

Loved this short little puzzle game. Overall the art is really great but there are some pieces that could use some polish. The addition of the stereo in the sand was a great environmental touch. Well done!

Not the carnival music!!! lmao

Really enjoyed the game and the art style is amazingly chaotic. I’d love to see more mini games added and more of the partner interacting with Guppy during the scenes.

Such a cool game! I love the art style and overall feel. Unfortunately, I’m not great at arcade style games but this was a fun one to play. I hope you get some good rest afterwards!

I loved how chaotic this feels with just the book telling you what to do and being snarky when you do a bad job. It feels like an intentional mechanic vs the limitation being added on. Someone mentioned an experiment notepad in an earlier comment, which could be a really cool feature for future updates and help with understanding the mechanics better through trial and error.

10/10 game. Could play for hours.

Yes! I played all the way through it. The final room was chef’s kiss :p

That was absolutely delightful. There were moments where the game felt like it maybe lagged a bit so I wasn’t sure what was happening.

Finding the constellations in the sky with the book to help is such a cool mechanic. You did an amazing job in such a short time frame! If you were to expand on the game, I’d love to see more dialogue between the characters and the stories behind each constellation!

This is such a cozy, charming game. The art is beautiful, and I really liked the background music as I played.

I loved this so much. The art style gives me zine vibes! The only suggestion I would make is to maybe increase movement speed just a touch. Overall, I really enjoyed this one!

I liked the puzzle aspect and the helper items along the way. I also had issues with the movement sticking which made solving some of the puzzles a little tedious. I think some of the foot plate boxes need to be adjusted in the room across from the constellation hint. I was struggling to walk between the footplates without accidentally triggering them.

I really liked the puzzle aspect. The second level took me a few to get and I had to restart a few times to get the hang of it! After winning the second level, the press space notification appeared but I wasn’t able to progress to a third level. Not sure if that was a bug or if you just ran out of time.

The art style is super fun. The dialogue options aren’t centered on the screen but I think this is a cool way to present some background lore for your universe for fans of the original games!

I wanted to rate this but the file download is not a .exe so I wasn’t able to play it.

This is a pretty cool concept for an idle-esque game.

A couple of suggestions:

  • Maybe have the astronaut move behind the pots? There were a few times I tried clicking on the pots to rewater the plants but the astronaut overlapped it too much.
  • Potentially add a $5 plant at the beginning. The timing was just slow enough at the start that I lost some interest.
  • A plant aging mechanic after it has bloomed could be really cool! It could lose $ value and die off if you don’t water it in time.
  • Buying decor or tools would be a good way to spend the money earned as well.
