Hello, I am really enjoying this software. Recently I easily added other latin characters to an existing pixel font which I would have no idea how to do with fontforge.

I'm now trying to merge two fonts and the only way I can think to do it is go through each individual glyph from one font, copy it, and paste it into the corresponding spot in the second font. Would be great if there was a way to copy multiple glyphs at once.

copy paste the code into a new file called fix_pixelforge_ttf_scaling.py

in the terminal use the "cd" command to enter the folder with both the python file and the font file

run the command with your font name

On the one hand, this is obviously really technically impressive, even with AI. Doing a 3D world with complex mechanics, clean UI, bosses, arenas, special abilities, decent balancing in 48 hours is an enormous feat.

On the other, this game is likely so incredibly abstracted from the developers, is it even worth calling it their game? Like good job, I guess? You prompted Claude enough to generate something for you. 

It's not unfun by any means. It plays like a free mobile game. It just lacks humanity and personality.

Way too punishing. I'm decent at platformers and have a pretty good patience for difficult games but I couldn't get past the first level of this. Bullet-hell platformers are really difficult because you only really have full control over one axis of movement. I think the platforming was cool and I liked the difficulty, but losing in one hit of damage and going all the way back to the start after you lose your hp is just wayyy too punishing. It's a shame because I really wanted to finish this.

Also loved the opening drawings and cutscene!

Would be really cool if there was some currency system where I could increase the power of my vacuum, as the game isn't very skill-based otherwise.

very cool game. maybe a tad too slow early game but super satisfying and I like the way it slowly introduces new mechanics!

Appreciate the comment! Art has never been my forte (check out my previous games for an even clearer example of that) but I’m actively working on improving! 

I do weekly updates but I can only work on the game one day a week because I have uni study and work part time :(

Ah yeah, that's the feedback I've received irl too, my 'How to Play' was pretty lacklustre and lead to a very confusing beginning if I didn't explain the game again. Definitely something to work on for next time!

Yeah good idea. You win when you get to 100 so I thought to make it more of a challenge it also says the time to get there and the letters per second.

Yeah lol I think it's made with spawner objects at the top so the obstacles aren't really random, they just spawn at random intervals from the preset locations. Cool art tho
