Yes, sadly there was no update a long time... It's part of my fault, because when the update (around last year October) was starting to get outlined to say so, we changed paths from HS2 to VaM. This change took quite a long time, to port everything to the new engine.

You can decide if Sheltered Hearts Graphics update, or Project Coffee will be finished first. This is the reason so we finish 1 active project at a time. This way we will be able to get you games faster with the same quality even so if we don't have that much free time.

Yes as mentioned in previous comments, and also on our steam page, we use AI for the base of things, and after we correct it, shade it, and animate it by hand.

In the full version, it will include more things to do so, and maybe we can figure out a solution to make money come quicker, but also make it optional, so everyone can decide how they want to play the game.

Project Coffee was meant to be a somewhat lightweight project while we rest from Sheltered Hearts.

You can work on the Mornings, and Afternoons by going behind the counter and pressing work. After it, the game will highlight which ingredient you need to press to progress. After it, you will have the coffee ready, and the customer will pay. Sometimes the customers will leave tips!
What time is in the game? Morning, Afternoon, Night?
You can only work in the Morning or Afternoon. If you have a task that you have to serve customers, and you're in the beginning of the game after the ring pick up, there was a player who had the same problem. Did you sleep through the day so it became night, and you could not work? We have the conversation, send in the bug-report channel on Discord if you want to read it your self.
It's a soft lock that happened to him because of sleeping after the first dream (after ring pick up) the whole day. Second day he interacted with Thra and that progresses the time. He did this two time, locking himself into the night section where you can't work, but you need to serve customers to progress. We will try to look into if we can do a fix for this problem, but if you are experiencing the same thing. You would have to roll back to a different save in the past (maybe there is an automatic save) so you can work and complete the task.
