I'm not from Israel and I love this game.

It does! When you load the game there will be an X icon at the very top right of the window. If you click it, you will no longer see nsfw content! If you loaded the game on fullscreen mode however then there's also another option which is to press alt and f4. And lastly if you're playing on android, the overarching darkness is approaching you, mortal. Build a sculpture of any God you can think of and pray to it up until your final moments, before your very existence disintegrates into nothingness as the darkness overshadows your insignificant form.
TLDR for the patreon post; Game dev makes game, abandons it because he wants to write the story in a SFW novel/book format, and now people are disappointed.
Honestly, I can't hate someone for just trying to follow their passion but I've always been an avid believer of "finish what you started", especially in this case because many people have paid money on patreon to support this game. To just stop it is a slap in the face to all supporters. They wanted an AVN, not a novel (I'm assuming cuz the reception has been pretty mixed or lukewarm) And I also even doubt that the book will reach a success equal to, let alone more, than if he were to just continue this game. But he did also say he had another full-time job (unspecified) so maybe he's not doing it for money? Still a bummer tho.
I think the best solution the dev can do is either continue the game AFTER writing the book (it will take a long while for sure, but it's better if something will eventually be done than nothing at all). OR, he can do something like Stray Incubus (great game btw, y'all should play it) where he can give the rights of Evermore away to another person or team so they can continue working on the game.

I bought this product expecting a neon light strip that I can apply onto my walls, but I instead got a porn game which caught the attention of my boss because I was using the company credit card to buy this. I got fired and just shortly after, my wife wanted to file for divorce after hearing about the incident.
7/10 game
Donald Trump sold me 4 kilos of fent behind my local Wendy's. I hid the stash under my bed and just a few weeks later I started to smell a dead body. I looked under my bed and realized the monsters under my bed overdosed on the fent and died because of it. Or at least that's what I thought because after thorough examination, the autopsy revealed that there was no fent present in the system of the monsters and they actually died from a concussion after I was smashing Nate on the bed so hard that the bed frame nearly shattered but the force was still strong enough to give Nate the sorest Hemorrhoids and the monsters a concussion. However, because I reported this incident, they discovered the fent stash under my bed and I could've faced 4 years in federal prison. But just before the sentence could've been ordered, my GOAT Donny T bailed me out for being his loyal customer. But then he placed me back in prison because I exposed his drug operation.
Game's a solid 8/10, pretty good.
Aside from the ones I mentioned, My Bully is My Lover by Niichan (extremely emotional, can be cringe at times but it still feels very natural and fun. I think this did a great job at making every character have struggles and problems while also making their personality shine through it which is what Eternum kinda didn't do well imo.) Other recommendations are Out of Touch by Story Anon, Harem Hotel by RuneyGames, Innocent Witches by Sad Crab (the pacing of this one is kinda bad but it does everything else really well), MIST by 395games, Freshwomen by Oppai-man, Projekt: Passion by Classy Lemon, pretty much every game by NLT-Media, and a lot more that I'm a bit too lazy searching for.
1. I see, so is that also the reason why OIALT barely has any music or was that just a design choice? And either way, this does make me feel less hateful towards the soundtrack choices, but it still doesn't change the fact that it ruins certain moments sometimes.
2. Not entirely sure I understood this so no comment.
In my opinion, you will only like OIALT better if you're a nerd who treats concepts and emotions in stories too seriously. What I've said about my original post was mostly on OIALT's technical aspects of story like the humor and charm that Eternum lacks. But that doesn't mean everybody will be bothered about that. Eternum in terms of graphic quality is already miles better than OIALT. It has better graphics, better effects and visuals, the animations aren't just honey select presets like what OIALT uses and are actually well made, and the models also look a lot better overall. Eternum, like I said, has a more versatile and interesting story concept. Because it is able to explore so many different themes (intergalactic, wild west, fairytale, etc.) in its story, the overall story at least doesn't get old and repetitive and really captures your attention admittedly more than OIALT.
To give an analogy, OIALT is like the song "stairway to heaven" by Led Zeppelin and Eternum is like the song "final countdown" by Europe. At least in my experience, many people far enjoy final countdown more than stairway to heaven. It's iconic, it makes you hype, it's more catchy, the lyrics are easier to sing to, and it can be played in so many occasions like parties, car rides, or at the gym. Stairway to heaven, however, lacks literally everything I mentioned except for being iconic. It starts of extremely slow with a folk-ballad sounding intro, the lyrics are pretty minimal, the song is extremely long, and it hardly fits the vibe of most occasions. It definitely doesn't catch the attention of the general audience the most efficiently, yet it's still highly praised by critics and is even considered to be the best rock song of all time. Because on a technical level, stairway to heaven is a much more complex and overall better song than final countdown. The build-up of the song contrasts the storytelling of the lyrics and speaking of lyrics, it's able to capture so many concepts and words of wisdom in just 1 line. The song has influenced many rock songs into becoming epics or narratives. Spiritually and in its legacy, stairway to heaven is a far better song than final countdown but you're only gonna see that if you actually bother to feel and understand the song. If you just wanna jam then you're better off listening to some Playboi Carti or some shit. But yeah, this analogy is pretty much what I said for both OIALT and Eternum.
And I'll end this by saying that there's nothing wrong if you like Eternum better than OIALT. There can be things that are objectively better than other things, but that should never stop you from liking what you like. If everyone collectively agrees that pizza tastes better than black licorice but you think otherwise, as long as you aren't forcing it then there's nothing wrong with disliking pizza but liking black licorice. All I care about is that you understand the depth of literally anything I said about OIALT and appreciate the aspects of it that I mentioned.
I don't have a perfect memory of what the song sounded like so pardon me if I sound ignorant or wrong, but I did remember my reaction to the music being that the vocals were nice, soft, and the lyrics fit the scene well. But the overall instrumentation was kind of a little bit too energetic and upbeat (this could be just a poor choice of words. Idk how else to describe a song that isn't exactly Charli XCX level upbeat but at the same time isn't somber or soft enough to fit the scene).
So yeah, there's my opinion if you wanted it. But even if that one scene had an amazing song choice, it still doesn't change what I think of the game's OVERALL song choices are. But I get that it may just be me and it's all based on preference.
