Crazy for just a week, very impressive and well done game! Love the art style and the unique feel of those old point and click adventure games.

What a great game! I love the story of this game. The sound and music also go together. and nice environment, nice asset work. My only real complain is that the node connections make no sense sometimes or maybe I just don't get it.

Overall very impressive.

Cool game, but the heavy use of AI, make it less impressive.

Nice art, and a lot easier than flappy bird 馃槄. the airplane sound stopped after sometime which might be a bug?

Nice puzzle game, great job by the team.

"Finished" the game (got to 9 tags). my main problems was really the camera sensitivity, and the lack of mid air control control, but other than that, I found it fun. Also would be more interesting if getting on to the buildings was a challenge, not just hold W to climb a building, maybe like wall running from 1 building to another and parkour.

Glad you like it! The game actually tells you how to handle this: use the Mouse Wheel to switch modes, as shown on the screen in the hallway. When you try to take the color of an object the text box at the bottom will also remind you to change your mod. There is also indication on the modules themselves when you pick them up.

Nice work, played it for a bit. I feel like the game is a bit slow, could have faster rotation and grid moving speeds perhaps?

Hmm, haven't been able to recreate that on my end, and none of the other players seemed to complain about this either. Are you on the WebGL build or Windows build? If you could share a video of the 'bug' happening, it would be helpful.

Great use of the theme, nice concept, I love the sound work as well and the overall cohesiveness, and its difficult which i like.

Thanks!

Thanks, glad you liked the puzzle mechanics, we wanted to have more levels, but we were short on time.

Thanks, glad you liked the mechanic. We really wanted to make more puzzles exploring the property transferring ideas, but we ran out of time. If the game gets enough attention, we'd definitely love to revisit it with a much bigger scope!

interesting, what bugs did you encounter? would love to hear your feedback, as it would help us improve the game.

Thanks for playing, yeah, if the game gains some attention we might consider redoing it with a bigger scope and a lot more puzzles.

thanks for playing!

Yeah, Portal was definitely an inspiration going with this, hands down my favorite puzzle game. We wanted to add more puzzles, but we were tight on time

thanks for playing, we're glad you enjoyed it. we took extra care to make the puzzles as intuitive as possible.

optimizing the strokes is the fun aspect of the game, the magnet might be too OP. idk why lvl 6 score is missing from UI, but yeah

i think I would be cool if you would need to activate and disable modifiers real time, to finish lvls. would take the game to the next lvl and add depth

cool concept, simple but fun.  the English was a bit confusing

Once the jam is over i can report more of the minor bugs if you'd like, so you can polish the game further

Didn't fully understand the concept but played it for a solid hour, fun game

how this was made in 2 weeks is beyond me. It's a work of art and very polished for the time. I love the art and battle music. while turn based combat isn't my cup of tea, i still had fun with this. as for the combat while cool, there's no depth, even playing the game at normal, you can just win any fight easily by just using the attack all attacks. and just go back and heal. and if you get an accidental encounter, you can just always leave. would have been nice for it to fail sometimes.  I was interested in the story but it doesn't seem to go anyway for now. overall very cool game, aesthetic and music. hope this becomes a full game

The atmosphere is just insane. keeps you on edge. while not a fan of this art style, it works for this game. I got a bit stuck at the flower puzzle but that's just skill issue. great game

I love the music, great atmosphere, cool art. but idk about the gameplay, there's 0 skill. can definitely be expanded tho

great game, love the audio work, particles, animations. the consistent and cohesive experience.  i like how the props aren't just static. overall a really put together game and pretty fun. my only complaint is a no mouse sensitivity option, because even at my lowest DPI it is soooo much.

I love the main menu, fun game. the only problem I had was you never really knew where the enemies were, you'd just get surprise attacked and die. would have been nice to be able to adjust the camera or something

man I love the track of this game, and the character design, and the sillyness. nice work

cool game, simple but fun and funny

damn, he really is invincible

So here I am pressing the submit button just seconds before deadline. I take a sigh of relief when I see the "your submission was made" pop up. I was happy and doing a checklist.

  • last minute bug fixes (check)
  • build running (check)
  • submission done (check)

Now that everything is done, I'll go make the itch page I guess. First thing I think of doing, uploading a walkthrough to YouTube and sharing the link. So I fired up my recording software and turned on the game. And to my surprise the AI is not moving at all. Turns out I forgot to turn off the debug mode before building.

Anyways enough yapping, I am very excited to check out all the other games out here just leave a link below this post and I'll check it out.

Here's mine if you like debug AI in games lol. https://itch.io/jam/game-name-game-jam-1/rate/4479591 Go ahead, give it a try everything else is functional.

And if you would like to try it out with AI, stay tuned as I will be uploading the build along with a brand new devlog after the voting period ends. And yes, I am making this jam into a full game! and the development starts now...

Thanks, I was trying to go for an early 2000 game art style, thought it would be cool since it doesn't get done a lot and i love old games.

And using PBR workflow and making high poly models just wasn't feasible in the low time. So i stuck with that theme

great use of the visual theme, and cool idea overall, hard to control tho

Hey, thanks for playing the game. I glad you liked it (for the most part) yeah we didn't have time to fully flush out the game.

the house assets were created by me btw

good game, the atmosphere is nice, the reloading mechanic is great, makes you tense. but sometimes the enemies just stay still even when in sight, which ruins it.

really fun game, wish it had an ending, the tension was definitely there. I don't like the bomb powerup. and sometimes item spawn in spots you can't reach

I tried the game again, this time i was able to play but shooting stopped working for some reason. as for the flying "bug" try pressing space and E at the same time while moving left or right with arrows keys. you will fly up after a few tries, hope that helps in debugging process

I liked this game, i got a bit confused at the second mini game, not being aware the ship below was mine. The only thing this game needs is dialouge fast forwarding. other than that pretty good game. and the ending is great

Finished the game, the controls were preivously broken for me for some reason. I really like the movement, my only complaint is the lack of movement control explaination. overall good game. good art. good music
