Hello I am the artist and "musician" here! I am happy you enjoy the art! This was my first time animating anything bigger then 64x64 pixels so it was a struggle, but hey you think I did better then I thought I did! The backgrounds were rushed and I apologize, it was made near the end of the Jam, and an event happened in my life in the middle of the Jam so I was coping with that, we plan to release this as a full game in the future and I will be doing research for the backgrounds because I want to be better!
The music.... it just sucks tbh. I am an artist, I only make music for Jams because Cale does all of the code and doesn't have time so I have to do it and I think the music didn't exactly fit and I get feedback for the music a lot! I want to improve on it!

BUT I did really like the game a lot! It was short, and simple, has a cute dog, a cute environment, and it did the theme perfectly
I LOVED the art, it was so cute, the tiles were cute, the player was cute, the background was cute! Amazing art style for the game
The audio was very nice as well, I liked the radio, the background noise, the woof, but the rain was very very loud, but that was the only problem I really had
I want more dog and I want a secret ending where the dog flies, but overall, I loved it and it was very simple
I think the game has potential, I like the idea for the game, but at some points it just feels a little lacking, but then other times it feels overwhelming. There are some bugs that just killed me without being close to enemies or lightning.
The art is also a little lacking, the character doesn't match the tileset exactly, the enemies are a little boring, but the lightning attacks are beautiful to look at, like I love the lightning
There wasn't any music so I can't say anything about music, the sounds were really good though, I like the sound for the lightning, and the attacks
The game has potential if there was more and the hitboxes weren't as janky, but overall I feel like it fit the theme very well, keep doing it!
I like the art, I think its appeasing and nice to look at, but there are some things wrong. The sounds were very overwhelming and it was very hard to hear anything else besides the boat and the waves. There were a lot of glitches with the buying where I get to a point where when I have enough, I can't buy anything and idk why. At round 8, my harpoon wasn't shooting anymore but I was able to move, and after round 9, while I was in the buy menu, the seagulls were trying to still kill me lol
I feel like this has a good concept and I like it, but it does lack because of the amount of bugs in the game. Overall I do enjoy it a lot, just need some tweaking!
First of all, I love the game feel so much. The parries *chefs kiss* it felt like I was playing a dark souls game! The game is short and so good that it made me want to play more and I couldn't!
The art is sweet and simple, but has flavor and dynamic! The boss fight was really good, but for the drill attack, I would say add like a little VFX to indicate that it's about to charge forward.
The music was amazing, can I have it on spotify please?
Overall, great game, great mechanics, and an amazing feel to the theme of the jam! Keep it up!
This was a lot of fun but it was very confusing. The first playthrough I was very confused on what I needed to do and I died without surviving a day. But after a bit I understood how the building worked, but it was again just very confusing.
I like the pixel art a lot! It's simple but also very nice!
I think this is very addictive to play and very fun! I loved the feel, of the game, I love how hard the game is! I wish there were more guns and defense but it was amazing!
The art was a little lacking, but it's obvious that the art wasn't the main focus, a little sad for me :(
