I just played one level, but this is iconic shit. Cake Mania but for Gen Z girlies, slay.

Update: THE MOUSE COOKING NOODLES IS THE CUTEST THING EVERRRRRRRRRR.

Late to the party but:

It's fairly easy to cheat/grind by gambling and saving/loading if you fail gambling rounds. Then spend money on drinks that increase your stats and gain more money from gambling. That's how I did it, at least.

Obsessed with this game, it's just what I wanted:

  • interesting storyline
  • pacifist options (never wanted to kill the dragon so thank god), as well as savage ones
  • multiple stats you can choose from (not bound to stick to just one)
  • romancing options
  • sufficient save slots
  • gambling!
  • knights in armour
  • witty remarks!!
  • and absolutely FUCKING HILARIOUS ones as well (that one response to Amati)
  • handy sidebar/menu to keep track of your business and quests
  • Loved the setting and art style
  • Floating hats!!
  • You can choose your own name
  • Cute soundtrack
  • Gorgeous colour palette
  • Anxious attachment style representation
  • Made me emotional (I sobbed twice)
  • Free to play/donation-based

May this type of love find me.

Love this game for its uniqueness and short loops, but for some reason my arrow keys wouldn't work, which resulted in not me being able to progress further and finish the game. A real bummer! I wish I'd be able to finish it, but I'm stuck now, having only gotten a couple of endings.

Update: Because I thought I'd never be able to progress, I watched the remaining endings on YT and found out later that my mechanical keyboard was keeping me from looking around and up & down. I was able to finish the game after all. The game gave me chills throughout the gameplay.

Big fan of Studio Investigrave, also after having played Dead Plate earlier today.

SAME. I was waiting for something gay to happen SO BADLY.

I loved the atmosphere and visuals of this game, but the ending was really abrupt; I hadn't read the description on the game page (only after I finished the game and got the first ending), so I didn't know it was a short game.

The gameplay was challenging enough, having played lots and lots of time-management restaurant games before, which was fun for me personally. However, I'd have preferred WASD controls instead of the arrow keys. My fingers got a bit cramped because of holding the Shift-key all the time and pressing the Spacebar.

I absolutely loved the French bistro setting and loved the graphics. Such an interesting and unique game. I'm so curious about the other endings; I need to gather more information about Rody's background story.

And I was rooting for some yaoi romance so, so badly...
