Welcome fellow game designer, thank you for submitting your Game to our Jam. CGD stands for Computer Game Design and we are a College course that teaches Game Design.

Your game is awesome and you should be really proud of what you have done ins such a small period of time.  Keep making game and uploading them.  check us out on twitter @cgdpriestley. I will likely be showing your game off in a review of the jam on twitch so keep an eye out for the notification.

very well done on this game guys, I really liked figuring out how to get around the space and the minigames were a great way to build up skill in the game.  I couldn't get past the second mini game though as it just went blank so I would have liked to completed all the way through. A restart button or pause menu would help as its saved closing the games a restarting.

Hey thank you for the review we really appreciate the feedback and glad you like the game. Shroomio was created by 5 of my students last year as part of their final project. They have now gone to University or working in the industry.

download doesnt work matey.

This is my favourite and if i had to choose a winner i think it would be this one. I like the feel of this game and the scope for more levels. The original concept was interesting and i had hope that we would see more of that in the game. However what they did produce was excellent. the visuals have been well considered and executed to high standard using the skills in the group, The build of the game is simple with nothing over complicated but effective and the game has a real complex feel to t. i love the free running aspect of the game and the challenges are hard but what i like most is that carelessness will have consequences in this game. so if you move something, knock something over or it touches the floor then its game over. This prevents you from just going bat out of hell and so it takes that bit more skill and thought. The final product is polished and game ready, i will be playing this over Christmas if only it was compatible with a controller too. Ill just have perfect my keyboard gaming.

wow what a game, i spent a good hour with my nephew playing this game and it everything you would expect out of a game built in 4 days and more. The three areas range in difficulty and each has a relevant power up. And when i say difficulty, what i mean is this game goes from hard to i want to cry. But this does not deter you but makes you play on. the Visuals and humour make it family friendly which is surprise from these guys but refreshing and i like it more because of it. Everything has been considered, nothing too complex and the group hasnt felt the need to show everything in their arsenal but create a game that is polished and game ready. Excellent.

I so wanted this game to be good and playable with its wackyness if not controversial side story. i mean games dont have to be serious as we know and and people get offended by the weather now so who cares but the actual playable factor misses me by a long shot. The tower defense game is an easy game to put together and yet with very little direction on how to play this game or explanation of what things do, power ups, weapons etc you spend along time aimlessly clicking and pressing buttons waiting for a reaction so you know what to do when you restart and try again. I assume you build up points to buy the power ups but there is no indication of how much you need and how you can use them. A lot of time has been spent thinking of power ups and the narrative that it kind of missed the "does the game play?" aspect. This is a shame because it looks good and it make me giggle but that soon wore off when you realise that these simple factors are just missing. The are a lot of moving parts, maybe too many for such a small period of time and maybe this played a factor in things just not working. Is there a need to have high value power ups or so many power ups especially if you cant collect enough credit in the game to buy them. i Like the scope for the game and there is potential for refinement and maybe trimming it down to improve the quality. There is a lot of skill in this game but im unsure it came together well enough to finish the idea.

wow this game is infuriating i love it. the tutorial level (the first level) is so hard to get past i had to come back to the game several times until i got through to the next stage.  i just love the simplicity of the idea, the inflation and deflation of the balloon is great i would like to see this in a third person perspective with the balloon changing size. There is so much scope with this concept its well worth revisiting and fine tuning.

send me the URL for your game and ill add into the jam collection for judging
