The atmosphere is AMAZING. The VFX of everything looks amazing ESPECIALLY the terminal and map! I like the Terminal concept a lot, having to stop dead in your tracks and type. I was very terrified first playing it so I sometimes typo-ed my commands and the tension when those happen felt like I was a deer jussst about to get hit by a car! Really great game!

Those aliens are breaking my ankles really hard lol. That was a really fun experience, I played multiple rounds and even after those I want to play even more! Awesome game!

What a great core mechanic! The puzzles are also actually fun and doesn't feel like I want to rip out someone's limbs! What an incredible game, and it even was made in under 24 hours!

What a cool vibe! Having to remember your enemies' attacks is a really cool and interesting concept. The atmosphere and lore is also quite captivating !!

Such spooks! The music was such a bop while I went through the different mazes lol.

I didn't think my lack of shooting skills would follow me into Space Invaders but it did. Pretty good game overall! It'd be great to get upgrades faster!

The mechanics, the art, the sound, the story. It's all there! It's so good! It's amazing! The concept is really unique I haven't seen anything like it! Timing parries, dodging attacks, they all clicked after the knight fight when the shield was dropped. In fact, I didn't even need to shield at all!

Wow the mechanics are really cool! The idea of intercepting missiles is already interesting and how you pulled it off was great! The aesthetics look real good and retro as well, very good game!

The 1-bit art style was really nice. The map is quite big and challenging and it got loads of cool and hard mechanics!

The game is already quite good! The artsyle is really cool and nice as well. The short lifetime and the roguelike gameplay made me think of Outer Wilds. Paired up with the puzzle concept, it'd be interesting how it will turn out later on!

The artstyle is so cute! The aesthetic is very retro too. Good Job!

What an amazingly polished game! The one where you have 2 characters and 2 sets of those lever thingies was the hardest for me!

What an awesome game! Aside from being just snake, the game reminds me of those old "Eat and Grow" games like tasty planet or Feeding Frenzy [made me realize the absolute lack of those kind of games now]! The combo timer is really fun as well, the art and sfx reminds me of old flash games which really fit together. The highest I got was the space stage but when I bit myself I got respawned inside some wall and got wall-locked and died lmao.

Awww such a cute and fun game! The art and sound effects are gorgeous, I love how silly the frog looks like while it spins! My max is at 103 I wonder how high the background goes. Congrats on your first game jam, doing it solo as well! Your game got juicy game juice!!

I love the art, the game looks really good! It is quite spooky as well with a blend of spoopiness!

Wow it really reminds me of random old flash games in game websites! You did really well to get that Retro vibe

What an interesting game!

Thank you so much!

I do wish I made some kind of spawn margin for the health bar or made it a tad bit transparent when an enemy is behind it. Thanks for that!

Thank you!

You can use the cross konami code to get one free full heal every game!

Thank you a lot! I did wish I had a bit more visual feedback everytime the difficulty rises. If I remember right medium waves show up after the 4th dispel and hard after the 7th. I loveee the rocket engine sound as well! It was a complete accident in fact! Instead of lowering and raising the volume I did it with the pitch scale instead and it sounded so peak I decided to keep it.

Thank you! I did want to make a ton of new enemies but I figured I didn't have enough time to really polish them if I did!

The background entity is just 3 sprites layered on top of each other constantly rotating (in different directions and speeds) then I put on a "fire" shader on it so it moves like flames and tweaked the parameters.

The entity that you fight is made out of only particles.

The real magic that ties it all together is putting the stretch to viewport and the scale to integer so it looks like an actual made sprite!

What an awesome new concept! Simple controls yet quite the challenge to master!

Amazing retro game! It looks feels and play really good!

THIS GAME WAS REALLY FUN! It had that really deep ANIMAL WELL vibes. There were lots of interesting secrets like hidden cubes and the player's face all around the map and the mechanics really hit that "easy to pick-up, hard to master" feel which was really cool to see. The puzzles were really nice as well [and very hard! Especially the green blocks one where you try to travel vertically]. Since the game's full of puzzles I wonder if the game page's description is a cipher but I haven't managed to figure it out! The graphics, the sound design how you respawn instantly it's a great game!

Thank you for playing! The entity was fun to draw. I wanted the music to actually be basic to reallly get into that retro-ness (The whole loop is about like 24 seconds long). The melody changes if you're battling or in the shop or fighting the boss!

Thank you!
The game is quite simple and I was planning to make some kind of Endless mode but one could always spawn an entity in the first wave (Here's the Konami Code ↑→↑←↓) and see if its possible to beat the game that way lol

Thank you! I was actually quite worried that the game was too hard when I made it but after play-testing I figured out that it's the opposite!
Thanks for playing my game!

I was such a gamer that I didn't get to see the little mini-games and finished the game but I love how the enemies get cycled back when you miss them! I had to try out getting hit to see what happens and it really is such a cool idea to do mini-games instead of dying.

A fun simple game! Wished there were more food on the board tho I want to see myself grow real tall!

I JUST BEAT IT ON MOBILE QUITE EASILY TOO I GUESS THE ECONOMY ISN'T TOO EXPENSIVE

AWESOME COMMENT!

Thank you for playing my game! Your notes and criticisms are incredibly useful!

From what I've heard with the others, the cauldron fuel drain rate is indeed too punishing. I set it up to something a bit higher because while testing, it became quite easy but I broke the unspoken rule that players don't know stuff the dev knows!

Guarding potions are a bit bugged though its potion effect is very case by case since it guards you from Spicetooth's knockback explosion.
Potion of Reaction lowers the dash cooldown. Quite useful in tandem with Potion of Ramming or Potion of Leaping.

You were right that higher tier potions didn't do anything! They were supposed to be some kind of ultimate panic button when certain events happen but uhhh I didn't have time to add events lmao. Burning potions is a pretty quick solution to solve softlocks tho!

During development, I had to cut some losses for some quality features and had to compromise by making a wall of hints in the game page.
I wish I had more time developing the game though! I really only started developing just a few days before the deadline...

AMAZING GAME! This is super polished! It's also quite challenging.

Whoa! This game is so polished! This was a very fun game to play

This is a solid game! I wish it had sound effects it would certainly make it even more fun!

This was a really fun game! The core gameplay loop is really entertaining. Your idea for brewing as "a storm brewing" is quite original; never thought of that!

Thank you! One of my favorite parts of the game is the movement as well especially when you harvest Spicetooths (the red and orange vines) to chain movement around the map. All potions (except for Slop) is an ingredient for Panacea!

Thank you! It was fun and a bit hectic making the art and music. I probably should have explained the gameplay a bit more in-game but thank you for trying out the game!

Much thanks! I chose the breakbeat as the music because it was chaotic and fast for a game that gets a bit chaotic quite fast!

The cover art piqued my interest lmao very funny indeed. The animations are really nice and its quite easy to control the dog!
