AWESOME COMMENT!

Thank you for playing my game! Your notes and criticisms are incredibly useful!

From what I've heard with the others, the cauldron fuel drain rate is indeed too punishing. I set it up to something a bit higher because while testing, it became quite easy but I broke the unspoken rule that players don't know stuff the dev knows!

Guarding potions are a bit bugged though its potion effect is very case by case since it guards you from Spicetooth's knockback explosion.
Potion of Reaction lowers the dash cooldown. Quite useful in tandem with Potion of Ramming or Potion of Leaping.

You were right that higher tier potions didn't do anything! They were supposed to be some kind of ultimate panic button when certain events happen but uhhh I didn't have time to add events lmao. Burning potions is a pretty quick solution to solve softlocks tho!

During development, I had to cut some losses for some quality features and had to compromise by making a wall of hints in the game page.
I wish I had more time developing the game though! I really only started developing just a few days before the deadline...

AMAZING GAME! This is super polished! It's also quite challenging.

Whoa! This game is so polished! This was a very fun game to play

This is a solid game! I wish it had sound effects it would certainly make it even more fun!

This was a really fun game! The core gameplay loop is really entertaining. Your idea for brewing as "a storm brewing" is quite original; never thought of that!

It's a pretty interesting game! Really cool you have controls for touchscreen as well.

Thank you! One of my favorite parts of the game is the movement as well especially when you harvest Spicetooths (the red and orange vines) to chain movement around the map. All potions (except for Slop) is an ingredient for Panacea!

Thank you! It was fun and a bit hectic making the art and music. I probably should have explained the gameplay a bit more in-game but thank you for trying out the game!

Much thanks! I chose the breakbeat as the music because it was chaotic and fast for a game that gets a bit chaotic quite fast!

The cover art piqued my interest lmao very funny indeed. The animations are really nice and its quite easy to control the dog!

LOVEEEE a good Bookworm game! Certainly brings back lots of childhood memories with the vibes of the game!

Good job on your first game! I was certainly very intrigued with the comments about the music as well as that one comment with the ravioli not wanting to be friends with them??? Now that I beat the game, I can definitely say that the ravioli also didn't wanna be friends with me as well. Wish the music went on a loop cus it DID go hard! The game is quite fun as well jumping over platforms.

Very solid bite sized game. Good Job!!! I wish I could die!

Aww very cute and adorable artstyle and vibes! Took me a couple seconds to realize the start screen was a map. I really like the animations as well.

Very fun game! Very addicting as well not to mention your tiles save between runs! I played through multiple rounds and they're all so fun. I didn't have trouble with the game, breezed through my first run with a gold 4-way and took all the gold tiles for stable economy! [Proceeded to build a golden 4-way deck]. Thought the 50% duplication was a scam since I didn't get any to duplicate but then after a few runs it somehow duped itself like 6 times [found out that it dupes itself when you put it in the sideboard as well which was an interesting strat]

The SFX are very crunchy, the vibes very nice and the gameplay very arcade-like! Challenging game as well especially when you get greedy by speeding through the level.

It's a pretty interesting game, the coins that needed to be collected on a different layer while you are standing on the other layer is quite challenging. Music makes the vibes feel mysterious.

This game is very intriguing! Bite sized runs perfect for discovering the other different endings.

Thank you! Getting Over It and Jump King were huge inspirations for the game and movement definitely becomes quite satisfying when you master it!

Thank you! I'm glad you had fun <33
It certainly is a challenging game... I probably should have made the layers a bit smaller and more forgiving for the jam lmao.

This was a really fun game! The story is very entertaining and that last level had me terrified for my poor brain
