Thank you! There's still room for improvement, so hopefully I can get rid of those few skipped frames while keeping (most of) the games running at their original speed! :)

Hi! May I ask which games didn't run for you? I'll look into what's causing the problem. Thank you!

Thank you so much! 💪

Thank you so much! Really appreciate your feedback! Will definiteky have a look at sounds volumes for the post-jam version! <3

Hi! Would you like to check our game? I'll check yours :) https://mayazmaya.itch.io/william-collects-hats-with-yo-yo

Very cool and polished jam game! Kinda reminds me of old Flash games with spring physics! The roguelike elements are the cherry on top! Also it's one of the juiciest games I've tried in this jam! Good job folks! 💪

I LOVE GAMBLING 🎰🎰🎰🎰🎰

Ohhh I was waiting for a pachinko battle simulator! Funny little game! ❤

I love the goofy characters and animations so much ❤️ Also the music and sound effects are spot on! I wish I had a bit more agency in this game, but it's a cool one nonetheless. Good job! 💪

I like the concept, but damn this game is so hard haha! Good job! 💪

Fun little game! Needs a bit more depth and polish but nice game nonetheless 🐹

I think I'm addicted to this game... folks please expand it, I need more content ahhh 💰

Thank you! :)

I spent 15 minutes on this game without even realizing because it's so hard to put it down! I love how the movement feels and the combo system is a very nice touch! I would love to see an expanded version of this game, though there's already a lot of content (maybe more levels?). Good job folks! ❤️

I love this concept so much! I had a lot of fun playing it and honestly I think I you should expand it into a full game, provided that you don't use the Tetris name (unfortunately it's trademarked) 😭 Really good job!

I love the idea, but unfortunately I couldn't finish a match 😭 But I think it would be promising as a full-fledged game, I would love to play it again once it has been fixed! Kudos for making it in just one day, that is an incredible achievement!

This game looks so cute and polished, and as somebody with a boring day job (which totally feels like spinning around a clock) I can totally relate with the characters 😭 One of the most charming games I've played for this jam, great job folks!

OMG this is so creative! Well done folks! Also the visuals are one of the best pixel art I've seen in this jam! Very fun little game, congrats! :)

Fun game and a nice twist on the Vampire Survivors genere! Unfortunately it has the same problem of similar games, where at some point you basically become immortal and you can play forever, but with a few tweaks it can become a solid game! Good job! :)

I really enjoyed this game! I personally found it a bit too easy, but I like the shooting mechanic a lot! Knocking out enemies with mustard is so satisfying! Good job! 🌭

Thanks a lot! :) For the rope physics I used a naive ik kinematics implementation with damping, a technique that was used (and abused) in countless Flash projects back in the day. As for the yo-yo and spider physics, we found it by chance through lots of trial and error :)

It's in progress, unfortunately my Playdate broke so I can't test it at the moment :( Waiting for the replacement, will let you know asap!

Thanks! Really appreciate it <3 I know someone in the Discord server was already working on a NGP emulator, I'll ask them how's coming along!

PICO-8 games can be ported with a bit of work since they are already written in Lua, no need for emulation :)

Thank you! :)

Thank you! :) It's mostly thanks to nwagyu, who made an amazing port to the NumWorks calculator, which has (almost) the same CPU as the Playdate.

I tried really hard to push performance, but there's a hard bottleneck: the Playdate's fast memory is too small to hold the whole NES game, so it constantly has to read from slower memory, and that caps the speed :(

But I'll check out your homebrew game and see if any dedicated optimizations are possible. I'll let you know!

Grazie caro, forza Roma sempre ❤️

It will be added in the next version 💪

Hi, thank you for reporting this issue! I initially avoided names with accents because the font I use doesn't have those characters, but I've added a fallback font in case a ROM contains accented characters, which can definitely happen with Pokémon games. I've uploaded a new build that fixes it.

Hi, this was reported by a few people, and I fixed it in the new 0.2.1 version I uploaded a few hours ago. Could you try the latest version and see if it's fixed?

Dude, in this screenshot you can see that gen AI was used to update a single text file, this ain't a vibecoded app. I understand the skepticism toward AI, but you are kinda overreacting here
