Really fun! I’m a bit of stupid gamer but i do like adventure games, I had some issues with things being too confusing and I dont think i couldve done the game without the hint guide, plus some things you had to interact with were very obscure, though, if the intention was to be like the lucasarts point and clicks & day of the tentacle it definitely got that right lol I like the sense of humour, you’re kinda just this weird igor to this incel neckbeard, its a fun premise

I think this game could really be improved by slathering yellow paint over stuff you need to click and telling the player exactly what to do, also experience points and a battle pass

There isnt any info about it in the info, I would hope that this jam is not allowing that kind of stuff, but I’ve seen a lot of jams who have either been allowing it or outright encouraging it. I feel like allowing it would encourage bad practices and also take away from the point of the jam which is to have fun actually making games Apologies if i sound like a bit of a le evil woke ai hater(which i am) bringing this up, just wanted 2 check, cause this is the only jam that fits in to my schedule/prefs and seems “with it”

This game was incredibly well done with what it was trying to do, I love the 90s pc vibe it has especially with the cutscenes, they’re very reminiscent of old pre-rendered fmvs. It has a message and a theme that isnt really present in a lot of pro-environmental art, a lot of it is just really watered down “hey lets pick up rubbish and that’ll solve everything”, but this game really goes to show how pointless it can feel and how that apathy and nihilism can build up over time to make it feel like none of it is worthwhile. also points out the pointlessness of what he’s doing in the first place, because even if he was to do 100kg a day it wouldn’t add up to a lot because he’s the only one doing it. This is a really powerful game and its done a lot better than “we can fix everything by recycling occasionally” and it also criticizes the pointless bureaucracy that just prevents people from doing what they can. The way he wonders if he’s also adding to the problem, while also being the only one who cares about fixing it, is also really powerful. At the end of the day a lot of people who are against the establishment and want society to function better are also a part of society, because the alternative is deemed illegal.

I really liked the little rat!! the platforming was a bit half half, though, because you get stuck on the edges a lot, and gaps in the platform are too small to squeeze through.

This was super fun!! the gameplay was really challenging and it was nice how the health worked!

For a pico 8 project this has done a lot!! really rad!

The music is so sweet for this, its an interesting little tech demo with the gravity!!

The graphics were really nice, I really love how the pipes looked, those were all super impressive!

Yeah my bad with the music looping lol, i didn’t playtest it long enough to see if the music would loop ahah - and yep I’ll be adding high scores when i go back and polish it!

I did have the idea of giving the player a gun, but that was in the last few hours and i wouldnt have had the time ahah, I’ll try add one in when i polish it up later

yeah ahah, that was the intent, just make sure to not get tripped up - a good way of getting rid of the cops is jumping over cars/busses, that makes them crash into it and esplode

The way you lock on to enemies was really satisfying and i think if the enemies attacked faster and there was a parry it would be really fun combat, i enjoyed how simple it was but still pretty fun and engaging

I really liked the aesthetic for this, I feel like it would be helpful if you could use movement keys for the left and right options, but I really liked the aesthetic and I think its rad

I think its nice! maybe there could be a highlight of sorts around items that you can interact with, and more of an idea on whats going on would be good too - also the camera is on a bit of a pivot, I imagine that the camera isnt being rotated but an object that the camera is attached to, you should rotate just the camera

I think if there was more levels and if you had more time to add some more interesting mechanics it would be a really fun little puzzle game - for being in 2 weeks and with an engine you’d never used before its really awesome. A more fleshed out version with more puzzle elements and more obstacles would be really cool, hopefully you make something based on this idea in the future

This one was nice! I think it started out a bit like you’d expect but it was super creative how it kind of branched off into being a reverse isekai story, everything else was pretty standard, but thats moreso a limitation of rpg maker so its understandable

I really liked the vibe! the level design couldve been made to account for the players jump height a bit more so that they don’t bump their head on ceilings as much, maybe it couldve been conveyed visually using some animation or something (though limitations, I get it). Jumping over that first fan thing was a bit tricky because the players jump height was only a little bit above it, but thats a skill issue on my part

this is really fun! Even though its such a short game the animations are super smooth and fluid and the hitting is really impactful, It’d be rad to see a full game like this

Its ok but needs a bit more work and polish, hopefully you can do that at some point. The art is really nice, though!

The animations were good and the gameplay was simple but worked. The animations were nice too.

I really like the idea, like I was actually taken back when I tried to move the paddles like pong and they jumped instead. That was a creative idea. Being able to control the height of your jump would have been good, because you jump the same height regardless of how long you hold the button which isnt great for precision.

its good, I wish there was more guitar hero clones. The music was a good choice too. I found it a bit hard to play because it has 5 buttons but you can only have 4 on the keyboard at once, and also sometimes I pressed buttons and they wouldn't register. Good work though and very creative use of the theme

It looks really nice, especially as a throwback to games like pong and stuff. Good work on that part

It's a very simple game, but good simple. Its nice, I also like the rainbow text that came up, That was nice.
