Hey! It was originally supposed to be a Pac-Man demake for an old 80s home computer. However, the main idea of 'Dead Pixel' is that the source code is so heavily corrupted and glitched that it transformed into this dark, unrecognizable void. The 'confusing' look is actually a deliberate part of the lore. Glad you liked the atmosphere!

I didn't want to make a 1:1 copy; instead, I focused on a 'haunted' or 'broken' arcade vibe where the story and the glitches take over the classic gameplay. Think of it as a lost relic from the 80s that's starting to fail!

I have a question regarding the theme: Does the game have to be a 'demake' of an existing modern title (like a retro version of a specific AAA game), or is it okay to create a completely original game designed with a retro/old-school aesthetic?
