Spoiler free review :

You should probably play this game ASAP. As soon as possible. Immediately. Now. Post haste

Review with mild spoilers :

This is the first yandere visual novel game I've played that had the yandere love interest feel so naturally eerie. This game is all about the little things. Jim is completely endearing. He is easily made nervous and flustered, he is so receptive to being praised, and you can see the playful parts of his personality peeking through his shyness when he teases the MC...but simultaneously, there are those numerous odd habits of his, the secrecy, the hints to his less than pleasant past, and his dialogue that can seem innocuous with his innocent looking features and expressions, but obviously hint to him knowing infinitely more than he's letting on. We are kept on our toes by how little we know, and by how much we don't know about the mountains and ourselves, because our key to understanding is seemingly through Jim, and he isn't willing to talk...just yet. Each decision is worth replaying to choose, because even with just 2 days released, you can learn new information from one path that are inaccessible through the other paths. There are also so many things that the MC notices or points out about the environment, and most prominently Jim himself, that I can already feel are going to be a huge slap in the face when (or if) we progress further into the story and learn the full scopes of the forest. And this isn't even going over how well done the art and animation is, how the sound effects and music together create such a chilling atmosphere, and that make Jim come to life despite us having such limited information on his character. Thank you, developer, for sharing such an already exciting and promising story with us!

Beautiful game, from the artstyle, the animations, the atmosphere, and to the writing. I adore that the choices we make actually matter, and will determine how Jim & MC act. Very interesting so far, well done!

This was heartbreaking. I seriously felt as if I were mourning Lilith, as if I knew her. Belphie's slow descent into insanity, all the unresolved issues that continue to fester between the brothers, and Belphie's self hatred...This feels like a necessary side game all OBM fans should have to play. Such a wonderful piece of work!!! (Also, Asmo trying to comfort Belphie with the same words Belphie told Lilith "You couldn't have known"...Satan's face and Lilith's face both being blacked out...Lilith having blonde hair...Tragic tragic it's all so tragic!!!)
