Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback, and I fully agree about the difficulty, much of the feedback has been either a comment of many deaths or a complaint about the difficulty, and I will use this for future games I make. I wish I got some feedback comments on the difficulty before the submissions closed. Glad to see you liked the concept and text though!

This was fun, I ended up surviving 327 seconds and the start being relatively easy made it possible to learn how to actually play before the difficulty ramped up. Nice art style too. Great game!

Thank you so much! I’m glad you appreciate the more “death is an important learning experience” style I was going for. I agree it’s still too difficult, this project has shown me that only self play testing is not very good for balancing.

Thanks for playing, and I agree, it’s definitely hard, I think I playtested way too much which made me think it was not so bad and I got no comments about it before submissions closed :/ glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for playing and I’m glad you enjoyed it overall!

As for the shaded/glowing effect, I made each sprites outline start opaque and made each following layer have a lower alpha value - the inside of most objects actually was not coloured at all, instead using the background colour. I also added an extra glow horizontal effect for the player to make them stand out a bit more.

As for the difficult that’s on me, I still need more experience to find a good balance of creativity and difficulty.

This is really impressive for the 4 days we all had. Loved the artwork, the gameplay was pretty fun and the bomb jumping made for a distinct platforming experience. The sound design was top notch. My only complaint is I found a way to softlock myself at the start of stage 2. So far my favourite game of the jam! Great job.

Nice idea although I feel the execution could have been better, the character is really hard to control and there was alot of waiting behind walls. I also got killed while in stone form one time anyways. I do quite like the art style.

Not too bad, could do with polishing in the future.

Direct, to the point, and pretty fun, I liked it overall, would be nice to see it expanded on a bit more

Thanks and congratulations to you as well! I can relate to the lack of guidance too, I could not tell until submissions if I got really good at my game by playtesting it enough or if it was finally balanced, turns out it most certainly was not balanced at all I just play tested enough to convince myself that it was balanced.

I really like the art style of this game, and the gameplay variety was also noticable. Some levels I found to be a bit difficult although I am not good at games that heavily rely on mouse movement so ill call it a skill issue on my part. The music was decent, worked well with the art style.

Overall this was a fun and unique game!

Thanks for the feedback!

This game is visually unique and amazing, I love the sound design and the different scenarios that happened in the minute were very funny, really good game overall

Short but to the point, I like the concept of actions being cloned, it led to a funny moment where I had 4 versions of myself stacked on top of one another.

Creative twist on the card game genre with good 3D artwork, I like it! It could do with some sound effects e.g. placing cards, activating ability.

Extremely creative, gameplay was pretty fun as well, I liked the bubble pops on the menu selection. Simple art style, I liked it. This was a nice chill game

This is pretty cool, I liked the movement and the cartoon art style, the music was also really nice but the second the timer appeared GOD did this game get difficult.

Seems pretty interesting but I had alot of issues with the timer itself

The problem was one with my device which forced me to close the game and I dont know why, I'm 99% sure it was not a problem with the game itself

Wow this was amazing. I like the combination of multitasking in an incremental game. 10/10 visuals, super polished. Gameplay was pretty fun. Audio was top-tier, and the story was a nice addition. My only complaint was that when I got overclocked the timer immediately reached 0 since I had all upgrades and the timer was like half way. Overall one of my favourites so far

Really cool although I had some problems after the wave with two porcupines and a racoon (I think thats what they are?) Relates to the theme in an innovative way. audio was a bit repetitive but fit the theming well. Top tier artwork, I do not know if the narrative is expanded on later but the introduction was nice. Great game 👍

I found this game to be really fun. I like that there are two variants of the slime, and the timer is a nice addition to put pressure on the player. The combat feels good, and the artwork is nice. My only problem was that the music did not loop. Overall I really liked this.

Nice art style although the gameplay is quite boring personally. The biggest strength is in its narrative for sure, theres a lot of implications and decision making that affects industry as well as the people. Nice game overall!

(1 edit)

Nice game idea, really creative, but I did softlock myself on a moving platform level, there should be a way to reset the level. also the clocks say they give +5s but they actually give +3. Simple but clean art style. Nice work!

This is very solid, I really like the different upgrades, especially as they stack, and the background detail. Simple, yet fun :D

I like the concept and interpretation of the theme although the gameplay itself is just waiting for a timer, not too bad overall!

Noted, thank you for letting me know and I'm glad you enjoyed it :D

Reasonable I am pretty new to development, ill remember that for future projects

Thanks, and yes the indication was the biggest problem throughout the project unfortunately I didn't get enough feedback on it before submission. Glad to see you liked it overall :D

Neat artwork and a pretty funny narrative with a creative take on the theme although the audio, despite a good medieval feel, also felt quite repetitive.

Overall decent game :D

Legendary, I know another person made a very similar game but this is so cool and I love the visual effects and sound design. The gameplay is also tricky enough under the time pressure to not be boring

Nice game I am just a bit too dumb to complete it but it was fun to play and actually made me think, good audio and visual design too, I like the low-poly style!

Let me know what you all think of this game! This is my first game jam and I want to learn and improve from it :D
