i loved the update! this rises the question tho.. since the next chapter is about mc and asterion having a romantic week or so to themselves, does this mean we may be getting into a little spicy content with asterion? ( wondering if some of the choices influence their dynamic in that way? ( asterion being all shy but really liking mc claiming him in public as his is so relatable like oh my gods ) nikos probably felt awful the entire time he tormented asterion. even if he didnt play a big part in it like the predecessors did since astarion was locked up for a good portion of nikos's career as overseer for hermes 

i love mark alot but i feel like he has trouble treating grey as a real person instead of a charity case who he wants sex with.

it also could be possibly that glitch may be pretending to be byte again. after all byte said " i didnt start RECORDING DATA untill we first met. " as in there is documentation of their " are you a human " test. trying to lead him to soul creek. it seems.. far to easy for him to be just GONE like that. a legit evil demon in our mind? just thrown out like that? the big bad of the game just deleted. gone like that?? he may be laying low. knowing mc wont agree with him. so he has to use.. alternative measures. the one person who came out alive kept saying soulcreek over and over. whatever is there i doubt it has real answers. getting the pieces tried to rip mc apart. what good could the main thing be? the person came out in a state of trauma where they could only repeat the name ever again.  and im not sure about the romantic biped?? i mean mc did legit block out the entire language because he was murdered by bipeds and hates their entire species. its where all the rage and anger came from is unknowningly the hate for bipeds for him and his familys suffering. maybe he befriended a biped growing up or something? and totally you can have it! i think byte as what the carmine people THOUGHT demons were. change. and what change is there but a demon that is pure and kind and helps people? ( also sorry i ramble alot about interesting things ESPECIALLY THEORYS!! and hey! honestly ive loved our conversation!! do you happen to have discord?? i read a ton of other visual novels i can recommend as well that are very high quality! 

anyways! about the update! i LOVE it!! every theory untill the end was thrown out the window! the suspense of finding the skull in the furnaces. seeing the cages " able to git at least ten bipeds " meanwhile it was for HUMANS!! i had all sorts of theorys! possibly the demons killing humans after being created and making more of themselves before causing the cascade. never did i arrive at a theory of them being demons trapped in the first stage of life before hatching into real life demons to bring destruction to the world! ( im guessing that the " blackzones " are where a demon thrived in its second stage of life after asending if it wasint explained and i somehow missed it? ) and loken was right the entire time! if he looked to deep there would be consiquences and he would start getting engolfed by it.  also the romantic bit about how something was.. new by that fire. something deeper. the flame of emotion i was looking for in my original review! also i know that byte is basically a demon but i will call him an angel because the carmine villlage thought demons were angels ment to send good messages against evil.  also the expansion of takhi's story?! WOW!!! its the expansion i wanted and SO MUCH MORE!! almost every single itch i had from the review was read to detail and solved! i HAVE to edit the review again to put all this in! i didnt even know there WAS an update because i forgot to follow the dev! ( thank you for letting me know of the update! ) while i understand mc's wanting to know who he was, he looked too deep willing to lose everything if it ment uncovering any piece he could find. with every piece found after the first dish? he slowly is losing himself as the first half of bite eats away at him. driving him to get the second piece so he would have a vessel. ripping apart his sanity slowly like a carrot on a stick in front of mc. promising revenge. closure. happyness. when all it gave him was rage. anger. resentment. ( my guy legit blocked out an entire LANGUAGE because it belonged to the people who hunted his species to extinction ) i still wonder who wyatt is. possibly one of the last humans trying to desperately save and preserve mc after being burned and rescued? or was it a biped who wanted the human race to live on?  mc was under the same influence toxic religion promises. do what we want and we will give you everything you ever wanted. untill you get there. and they give you nothing but a thank you for your sacrifices. maybe a smile.  tricking the desperate unto offering every piece of themselves for one thing. that ultimately destroys them and finishes the job. every new piece fit so snugly into the puzzle that you can barely spot a seam! just BEAUTIFUL

it may be made to be a sort of psychological thing? you only get bits and pieces of their discription and from there the mind can put together anything from it. all we really know is that they are robotic in nature

okay. as someone who hunts for and reads furry visual novels as my main hobby. so far? the world building is going so amazing. i love the detail. some games have too much world building to remember without having to go back and look at a supplied map etc. this is just the perfect ammount of world building. the characters are unique. loken is antisocial but tries to be kind as we get closer. the chief drevonia is extremely stern in the face of a threat but softens later on ( but still vigilant! as a chief should be. and the self character building of our character?! awesome! not needing to eat is something off for me tho because i feel like it may take away from the experience. but still a creative choice i respect! being on the verge of not knowing if we are human or android is suspenseful. my theory is we may be a human but part android with all of zephyr ( human ) history customs etc so it survives. seeing as no one else was in pods and we were the only one left untouched or hurt by the demons.  ( ill write more once i finish! ) 

edit : wow. just... wow. the way that loken acted during the indulgence? i LOVED the teasing. its like you think its juuust about to happen before he walks off or someone interupts. ( altho with all the teasing i was hoping a bit more would happen given the strong build up. and the whole mylo possibly being part human?! that is a whole new theory train. altho i WISH we would have gotten a cg of the scene with mylo in the blackzone. the demon just a shadow above him with very very faint details like discribed. mylo looking scared shitless as the scene goes on. MAYBE EVEN HAVE A LITTLE ANIMATION DONE?? for such a key moment of the game into our FIRST viewing of this looming permenant threat i feel like it needed a little more visual to it! all weve done is hear about the demons but this was the first time weve SEEN ONE. just holding the arm gave us a PANIC ATTACK and we couldnt stand holding it for a few seconds. this is where the threat comes in. this is the momment the threat is revealed to us as it is. a mocking empty void ( evident from it copying mylos crying as he realized he was most likely about to die )  only ment to crumble anything it deems worthy of its attention. given that is my ONLY problem that such a key moment wasint given a cg or 2. it could be possible that emotion be slightly higher between them with more emotional attraction a bit more evident? but its also the fact of us being mended into the draconi and joining their custom. i LOVE aeyon and his personality and takhi being AUSTRALIAN?? ( australian is right i think? makes sense given shes a honey badger! ) the personalitys are so robust! aeyon with his wacky all around self being the smart one who knows about things lost to time. takhi with her obsession of chopping off dicks and hitting people with them. and you can FEEL the power coming from drevonia. shes untrusting and its frustrating. but she HAS to be untrusting. at the least things go on as normal if she killed us. we could have been evil and killed every man women and child there because she didnt investigate thourally. she has the responsibility. she needs the power. wit. and needs to make decisions when no one else can or will. i would love to see more of takhi's past tho! it seems a little touchy and given the name shes refered to as by kaius and orion who knows what it could mean! did she leave the tribe for a few years and become some world reknown gladiator who traveled? there may be some context i missed but not sure. also id love to see the side story of the cheetah blackrunner with the trader guy and miya i think her name is? ( also damn girl 3 guys good for u! )  and the energy created by the indulgence? the drums. the fire lighting. ( altho i admit the affects for the flare were a bit over the top and kind of blurred the view but thats alright! )

WOW almost every hole and crack i had for the first review was filled. 
we got takhi's story on how she has to slaughter a village cult who worshipped the informed and demons as gods. we got the emotional aspect of mc and loken's relationship turning into a romance/love story. we got a big chunk of byte's story. we got our past. how the humans all died. how the cascade happened. what demons REALLY are. how they were created. what soulcreek actually is.. and bytes identity crisis. he believes he is an ai because he has seen what demons can do and what they are and doesint want to admit that he is connected to them. possibly ONE of them? but he wasint LIKE them. he was put into a brand new life. given a brand new life. not a person with memorys. maybe because mc reset kind of.. so did he. new. impressionable. a new life to learn and grow. something about the specifics of mc with no memorys. being BURNED ALIVE. all of it ties to the fact that byte is a completely clean slate and not a real demon. 

also the fact that the demons and what they are and SEEING THEM and knowing OF them is like a seed? having to neglect it. keep it in its box and leave it on the shelf. how it grows and vines into a persons mind before it takes hold and roots. over all.. loken was right. he was more right then anyone can ever know. not even us somehow. even if we are mc. we arent him. there is only so much writing can do to convey his experiences. his potential death/burning alive? a new world you know nothing of and having to piece it all back together. before having some entity forcibly rip the world open to show you the truth. every ugly piece of it. and most of all.. kairus HELPING TO BRING US BACK??? ( cant think of how his name is off the top of my head ) the anger towards kairus helping BRING US BACK?? somehow.. that building anger, is what saved us. glitch trying to make us betray everyone to kill them all from anger and rage? was used to free byte and mc. ( NEGATIVE EMOTIONS CAN BE USED FOR GOOD!!!! ) 

so i DEFINITELY suggest giving this a read. its so good and a great way to spend some time. 9/10 definitely! ( 9 because its not finished and who knows where the story could go! definitely amazing thooo! ) 

OH THE CLIFF HANGER UGH i love this so much but WHY CLIFF HANGERRRR

i belive so all but spencer as his epilogue is most likely going to be an actual wedding

exactly im glad someone understands that alot of people dont want teenage looking characters in art style. ( nothing wrong with younger looking characters but most people playing these games are adults and its uncomfortable for alot )

people like slimmer appearances and more muscular or chubby. just because they arent the body type you want and find attractive. that doesint mean you can shame people for what they like " its sad that its pulled more then dawn this looks cringe " its disgusting you think you can degrade people and something just because YOU dont like it. i dont like dawn chorus much. if you are more into body shaming more diverse body types then fucking leave. we dont fuck with people like you. you cant backpeddle like " its just my opinion " and go on about how you hate it 3 seconds before. no. fuck off. i HIGHLY doubt youve even played it besides seeing the reviews and huffing going into the comments to write up a storm about how awful it is from the 3 pictures you saw without knowing shit about a single character or story. blind ego rage right there. i read dawn chorus. THEN i decided i didnt like it. i didnt just look at it and go " i hate it im going to leave a nasty comment to hurt the creators feelings that will show them for adding diversity in characters and not appealing to me! "

they dont have to " fix " anything their art style is amazing and better then dawn chorus in MY opinion. dawn chorus is a good one but not my favourite. but i dont go to dawn chorus and say " this isint as good as this one  that isint ment to be the same at all! " no. we like what we like and leave shit alone. both are good and you dont need to be an asshole because you want them to change everything for your liking. there is no " fixing whats wrong " to be done. " BUT MY OPINION IS MORE IMPORTANT " apparently go off 

i actually liked the fox legs :3 it gave him a bit more personal flare to him that i really liked and made him visually unique but thats just me :3

also i love how its about a " god " that believes all carain are good. as in they are all good boys. its the most adorable thing ever. worship the god who calls us good boys

i read visual novels as a hobby! furry vns especially. so far i like the plot of this! it feels familiar to another one ive read i believe, but im not sure how, maybe just a familiar feeling to some other ones ive read! this FEELS new tho. even if its familiar its still new uncharted land and storys to be made! im very excited for the updates. the music is soft and uninterrupting. a problem with some vns is the music being so overpowering you cant focus on reading. even if i have the volume up, i can still read uninterupted. just taking a minute to appreciate the music and continuing. the cg's of aron ( default mc name ) are very detailed and interesting. even animated in one if im right! the way he is designed is an aspect i like. usually if a main character is turned into something it just looks... strange and unnerving. but this mc transformation feels fluid. visually appealing. even if he never turns back, he will still be a beautiful lion boy! and agnarr is a very kind and loving character. i cant wait to see more of his personality form along with mc!  i cant wait to see the art style develop. the writing. and this story. 

oh my gosh yayyy! im so excited! 

will this be a romantic visual novel on the side?? seeing alex and dawn hound would be a cute couple! but its ok if they wont date or anything :3 id just think its cute

this is kind of, a little review thing from what ive seen of this vn over the years!


extracurricular activities is a very great vn. alot of writing styles dont feel smooth to me. but, the writing style and wording of exca makes alot of sense to me. the most disrupting thing when  reading a vn, is if i struggle to understand what they say. with other vns i dont know how many times i have googled different words because they are so out there and unused i have never seen them before. but with exca, everything is easy to understand and follow.

the pacing of the vn is also great! it is a good mix of detail. story. action. i struggle alot with getting bored mid vn and skip ahead. but with exca, i dont do that. i read every line and it keeps my attention! the cute little details about the characters that give them life.  this vn has a great pace to keep the attention of the reader without losing the attention or being too straight to the point. 

 ( this little bit has some very small spoilers. nothing much but this is a big part of the review i couldnt leave some  of this stuff out.  )

 
the characters that dyne has created, feel like they are alive in a way. each character has their own particular details. desires. dreams. ambitions. feelings. and inner struggles. while other vns struggle to grasp that realness to a character, dyne gives that realness to them. like harolds writing. chesters game design. dozers plants. spencers want to become a professional tennis player. dwaynes painting.richards want to provide for his daughters. and darius with his acting career and piano.  they have their own struggles and lives that draw you closer to them and  give you a personal bond to each one of them. 

 the endings are all AMAZING for the main starting cast. as of right now, we currently have richard and dwayne whos routes just  got started a little while ago. dwayne more  recently.  honestly, i love dwayne alot. at first i didnt like him. but his sheer puppy love and admiration for eric quickly won me over as he grew on me. the fact eric seems more dominant in this route intrigued me,  the fact that no one really went after eric first. and it was only really eric approaching them. seeing eric being courted and shown such puppy love is amazing. dwayne is a little air headed but its honestly adorable. i can be airheaded myself so its relatable! its also interesting with eric taking initiative with dwayne sexually, seeing as eric isint really seen as a dom type.  we see some of this in spencers route and maybe harolds once in a while, but honestly we dont see much of truely dom eric! so the thought of eric showing his more dominant side is new! and dwaynes reaction to him? absolutely LOVE it! and seeing dwayne as the bdsm type( at least i think seeing what may have been in that box, ) shows that ALL sorts of characters are in this vn! you have slow burn like darius but quick to sex. a lovestricken romantic like dwayne. harold who needs love and comfort to help fight his mental and emotional demons. all of them have their own pace and mix. this visual novel has bits of everything for their characters. richard is also a great character! given his route has just started and we dont have too much to go off of, he is really caring about his daughters and seems to want to help take care of eric and do things for him and help generally.   richard is very playful and fun! hes not my favourite ( harold is tho ) but he is a great character and i look forward to seeing more of him! 

not to mention the sex scenes are so beautifully spread out through the routes. 



 there are SO many great things about this vn that i cant put all into 1 comment. 
now this little bit is just something i feel personally doesint give that closure and relief we wanted. now, that does not mean that i am owed a good reaction. of course if dyne likes the way things are set up that is perfectly fine! everyone has a right to be happy with their work or how things go. no one is entitled to have someone else change their work because they arent satisfied with something. this is just one thing im sure has already been brought to attention. i have alot of faith in dyne as a creator. 

 

while vernon being expelled and banned from campus WAS a punishment, it doesint sit right. given the fact that vernon has proven time and time again that he is willing to harm people further and worse with every punishment he got. the frat being disbanded got him to the courts and throwing the rock through erics window after stalking him to find his house, which was a homeless shelter.  then once he got actually expelled, who knows what he will do to them now. possibly even going after andrew and injuring him somehow as he did to eric and chester. feeling as if there is no plan beyond just what was displayed in the route. maybe if andrew mentioned a court date or something at the end, and in the epilogue we get to see vernon excorted out by cops or something in an orange jumpsuit, would be perfect. taking the weight off the reader and the victims. while this bit may have been planned to be saved for the epilogue, without context for that being a possibility it feels like chester didnt get his due as a character.  i hope that in the epilogue, vernon gets more then what he deserves. im hoping that is why things ended the way they did to give that big finish for the epilogue. 

along with the small problem with the touch spots in the new scenes where you can click spots, they can be on the small side and hard to find sometimes

other then the slightly underwhelming ending for chester, everything about this visual novel is perfect to me. some may feel others are better and thats fine! but from my personal  experience, this is the most fitting one for me. i dont struggle to understand or read it. the writing size. style. character personalitys. all fit so wonderfully.  ive been a devoted reader for years. seeing this vn grow and expand and become as popular as it is now, makes me very happy. dyne is a very nice person from what little ive spoken to them.  if you are looking for a visual novel to read, this is the one i recommend.  i basically follow it religiously lol. give this vn a shot!

alright! but are the public versions gonna be updated later on or is 1.02 gonna be the permanent public build until its finished like a demo? 

the download files only have 1.02 or 1.05 as options for downloading.  even before 1.05, 1.03 and 1.04 werent available for me. i see 1.03 and 1.04 in the development logs but they arent available to download?

the theories stack up! there is just so many possibilities to examine and little clues to look at! ken mentioning he was just a kid too. his very sudden and emotional reaction to whatever gray possibly did. possibly trauma from an assault? gabriel not using his name anymore? what could have happened? being there for the characters in their time of need is so emotional

i have a question! so, on the day when mc has his first sex scene with harold in his route, is there a reason why the section after harold finishes where mc gets off was removed? i was just curious!


p.s at first i didnt like dwayne much. but his new day has me hooked on him! hes so sweet and adorable and its so adorable watching him be all flustered and totally head over heals for mc!

i love how the MC is seeming dominant in dwaynes route! id like that to stay seeing as MC is a bottom in most cases or a switch sometimes! i like seeing the more dominant side of him and hope that MC is going to stay dominant in dwaynes route! its new and refreshing! im sure whatever dyne has planned will be great none the less! ( i just hope this will be a part thats staying :3 )

usually they have public builds and then patreon builds. as in the newest chapter is for the patreons that pay to help make the game, in return they get perks like the new chapter a month or so before its public, sneak peaks at cgs or new outfits and general progress updates. the new build will most likely come out soon publically i think? im not sure depends on if the creator is wanting to save content for the final release :3

while i dont have an idea for the actual scene, id imagine it would start out very soft and loving and stay loving through it. but getting rougher as it goes on as mac gives the okay. i think consent would be a big thing for mac! he may be very nervous as it may even be his first time but his love and trust for killigan would help ease him of those worries and just enjoy himself. maybe let him explore killigan, as the other sex scenes we dont see much of their interactions with killigans body. only him with theirs. idk these are just my thoughts

question! how do i get the " wear nothing " thing for the modeling with mac? cause, of course im still going to pay for his meal. and just be nice to him to get his route. but, that costs me the scene with the option of paying for the meal ;-; i need help
