No these files are here for you to have a easier time setting up multiple BunnyRoll Pages. You do not need to use it.

Can the images on grid (cards) have a diffrent aspect ratio?

If the grid /cards should have a diffrent aspect-ratio edit line 185 in style.css for example to :

aspect-ratio: 4 / 5;  /* portrait */

More specific Bunnyroll HOW-TO questions:

Can I link site / pages internally? Yes

The editor can only work with one site at the moment. You can easily link internally to other sites with simple HTML Linking Rules: parent & sub directories. For example if you got a site folder with two sub pages (page one and page two) you can use something like this: ../site-number-one/index.html

How can I move multiple elements?

You placed everything you wanted but now you need more space? you got multiple options to move multiple items:

• just click and hold on to multi select, where nothing is placed
• Hold SHIFT and select more elements
• on the right side there is this little scroll handle right before the scrollbar. While holding down this handle you move everything that is below it at the same time downwards or upwards

Why did you make this tool?

I wanted to show my friends the photos I made on the trip without these log in pop up walls on the big platforms. I had the idea of making a styled scrapbook with our memories but lacked the tools to make it (and to make it look at any resolution or device) so I set out to change that. Likewise, I hope you too have fun while making a website with Bunnyroll. 

What is the difference to other website makers?

This is a tool for fun, creative exploration mainly created for people wishing to make silly little websites away from the big corpos. There are some really great places and humans who feel forced to buy into expensive website makers subscriptions for just sharing some infos with others on the web. You don't need to pay three digits subscriptions for having fun on the internet. Not everyone who builds a website needs to feel professional or have a bunch of plug ins. 

You can export your websites for free (HTML, CSS, a tiny bit JavaScript and your assets), owning the software on your device and working on it offline all without an account for log in. You own the sites you make. 

Can I host it with other web hosts than Neocities:

YES! It will work with any generic web hosting you can find! Nothing in the exported code is Neocities specific, Neocities is suggested for beginners because it comes with free hosting and a nice editor all in one place :)

Why should I buy the paid plus version?

Please see the tables I made for a comparison on the itch site and on the web version but TLDR: some nice extra features and a way to support a dev for their work. 

Why does the plus version on my desktop computer want internet access?

To check for updates. I do not care about analytics or spyware. If a update is available you should know about it. But if you dont like that just dont give internet access to the installed software and it will still work flawlessly. 

I have zero interest for analytics and spyware. The only website it would check on booting up would be my site Bunnyroll tool site to see if an update is available. If you don't want just block it from accessing the internet.

What are all the bunnyroll specific terminolgy?

So I tried to make everything easily understanable but when you read the HOW-TO or want to tell me something there are some basic words that are good to know: 

• elements are text, images, emojis = everything you place on your site
• site / page is the part that you as a user can place your assets onto.
• web host can not be bunnyroll itself but a third party you can choose to upload your site to the internet. 

Can I use the bunny .svgs from the example site in my own projects?

Yes! I made them so you can use them whereever you want them in your own projects (License of the bunny example assets: Creative Commons Zero).
