Pretty intense, I like the artstyle and overall its fun. But as others said, it has some performance issue. It freezes time to time on my 4080 and it would've been better if the controls were in the player's perspective

The visuals, music and impact are great! I collected 208 souls. I made a similar game for my first jam, but instead of souls you collect orbs

I see, you mean sometimes it extinguishes right after spawning right? Sometimes the match's collision shape overlaps with a static body, so it immediately moves away from that point. This change in position is recorded as speed so if its large, the match dies.

 Ig I should've added a timer to pause extinguishing for a few seconds after spawning

Hi! First of all, thanks for trying it out :) ! The game was developed in 1.5 days as I was traveling, which is why its not that polished. However,  you can do this to play it as intended:

  • Spin the cursor around the pedal, the pedal should be at the center of rotation: In the playthrough, you're spinning it in some other location, so the pedal first goes halfway up, and then back down.
  • I tried making it more intuitive by having the pedal spawn wherever you click, however, I've come to realize that this was a bad idea, It would be better to fix the pedal's position


  • try slowly rotating the pedal when the cycle is flipped or mid-air: The cycle's spinning that way because you're rotating the pedal too fast mid air.
  • I'm aware that it can spin around too fast, I noticed that during development, but I kinda thought it was hilarious, especially when you hit the ground while spinning like a chakra with a loud thud, and get launched into oblivion. I plan on keeping it and even adding an explosion when this happens for meme purposes

I completed the first 2 (A,D to move and space to shoot), but the item didn't drop for the third one, I tried playing the level 3 times but the output was pretty consistent. I think its just my device, maybe the fps is too high

Cute game! It was fun, nice music and the 'dialogue' is nice as well (idk if that's what you call it). Although it did take me some time to get used to the flipped WASD. I get that it's because of the tilted perspective, but I think W S for forward and A D for sideways would be more intuitive

The visuals are awesome! The game was fun, but it didn't work for me in first level for some reason. Nothing spawned and the ball just stayed in the wall the entire time. I thought I was doing something wrong. But the other levels worked

Fun, nice art-style. Although the obstacles and decorations need a bit more distinction, the skull, the fruits etc. all look like obstacles

Hey, thanks for playing the game! I'm sorry I couldn't reply, I didn't sign in to itch after the jam and wasn't expecting anyone else to play the game hehe. The cake can be defeated by either exploding the fat guy near it or throwing the statue of the girl towards it. Again, thanks for playing!


How to beat the game

Escape as Minnie: Choose Diabeto, Run (or keep attacking) through the eclair, collect enough candies from the packet to defeat it, then collect just enough candies (attack the packet after its dead) to explode near the Cake right after eating the pudding. Minnie can just walk through now.

Escape as Diabeto: Choose Minnie, and harden literally anywhere. Your choice. Then throw her hardened body at the enemies to instantly kill them. If you want to kill the candy packet using her, wait till her sugar goes  to zero, being idle is the fastest way to lower her sugar.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I agree with everything you've mentioned and I really wanted to add all o f it, and some AI voice over as well for the dialogues to not get boring, but 4 days just weren't enough for all of that. I also wanted to add the talking animations, but it was my first time using krita so even making like the walking animation took me a ton of time (the transformation mask was really frustrating to use at first). And I couldn't really make the animation for 1 of the characters since that would've been weird. I'll definitely add everything after the jam tho. Also, really loved your game, nice humor, very chaotic and fun lol.

Hey, sorry if this is like mentioned somewhere in the post, but is the artwork inspired from Junji Ito? It really reminds me of it

Art needs improvement. Fits the theme well tho

Idea is good but you need to tune things up. The pointer should move less by itself. You need to find a balance between chaotic and playable. And maybe add a pointer to see where the player is aiming

Short but VERY cool! I got REALLY frustrated with how tight all the jumps so if that was your goal good job! Good take on the theme, The title is also very fitting
