oh, that's unfortunate I thought the debt quest was the one to get you past lvl 20. that means I have to grind gear to continue the main quest line which I cannot be bothered doing as this games inherited genshin's gear stats spreadsheeting and RNG. in both cases the system is just dreadful and just makes me want to drop the game.

Am I misunderstanding something or are you meant to grind out hundreds of expeditions for the debt? items collected around lvl 20 only sell for $20-30 and I'm getting only like 10-15 a run it seems far to ineffective to collect the 5k required to pay off a portion of the debt.
