Anything for the cause!

Oh it feels like rimworld!

I honestly think the biggest problem for people not playing was the need to download it! If you look at the list of games and how many are rated the ones with the least ratings are all download only 😞

Thanks for the feedback! Everything that happened was completely above board and only done to willing participants I assure you! As for the wood chi - I mean keratin extractor it seems to be a problem with the shader used and will need to be optimized in the future but we are working on that haha.

Also, this is a little bit of “developer tech” but it’s super satisfying to do, spam click the heads of the people without dragging them on the conveyer level and throw them in as one massive group! Chefs kiss!

Thanks for the feedback! I also found myself trying to get the best score when playtesting but my wrists are shot now hahah. We keep getting a lot of feedback about the transitions and will fix it in the future! Thank you for playing!

Honestly the keratin into carrots idea came from our composer and was just randomly thrown out at the beginning as a joke but we built the whole game around it haha. Yea I agree the beginning is a bit of an info dump but I feel that the game wouldn’t make a lot of sense otherwise. I’ll have to look into other ways of providing info in the future. Thanks for the review and thanks for playing!!

Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it and you’re right we definitely could’ve added a way to indicate the scenes were going to change, a time bar at the top that flashes as it’s getting lower could make you feel rushed and panic hehe

I definitely got the gist from the first playthrough but wanted to make sure I got everything and also wanted to see if I could change the outcomes but I wouldn’t say having to play it a few times is a bad thing! One of my favorite games of all time is Nier Automata and that has the same idea. You don’t get the whole story with just one playthrough. So I bet you could build on the abstractness and make an amazing product!

(1 edit)

Hahahaha it is a crime against humanity that more people aren't playing your game! That was amazing and I would play it again just for the cutscenes XD also I loved the ending 10/10

I couldn't figure out how to make more money but I definitely saw potential! Great job!

I liked the grid system and eventually took over most of the map but I didn't know what to do next, I just sat there and made money haha, great job though!

Holy shit the art was crazy! Great job with that! I stood there and wasted like 20 seconds just looking at it! The gameplay left alot to be desired though, but honestly I can't blame you with how long I bet it took for the art. You've got this!

I love how the game went from being a clicker game where you press the button to a clicker game where you spam on the upgrades haha! Great job the only feedback I have is that sometimes the button didn't register my clicks which is the best part of a clicker game!

I liked that it felt like that mobile game ad where you hunt bears and sell meat haha. I also liked that i was able to buy the speed upgrades right away cuz that made it way more enjoyable. I would say maybe put the signs at spawn that way you know exactly which way to go for everything? Great job though!

Great job making the game in unreal! However, none of my carrot boxes worked, every time I tried to grab it, the texture would clip through the floor and get stuck. I did love grabbing the normal boxes and bashing all the other stuff away though!

Honestly I agree alot with what ronsiv8 said, overall the game has alot of potential but would love to see more of the creator in it. Great job though!

I'm confused by which one I should download?

My favorite part was spinning the carrot around the mouse hahaha I wasted like 5 mins doing that!

I loved the idea of this game and the way the stocks moved and updated was very satisfying to watch! Great job!

I loved the idea of the game but the need for extra things to plant carrots just felt like a reason to spend money, maybe they could be optional to use and would increase the yield of carrots or something like that? Also I spent 2 minutes holding on to my 50+ carrots for the market to go above 5 hahaha maybe having something to do in the meantime while waiting would be nice? Overall, great job!

The gameplay was honestly pretty repetitive and I never saw the need for the multiple lives. I guess you just didn't have time to implement anything to hurt the bunny? However, the movement was.... MWAH CHEF'S KISS! I honestly didn't mind the repetitiveness because I would just start doing donuts! It felt like i was playing a bunny racing game hahaha!

This was a really interesting gameplay loop but it kind of felt like when I would play hearts on my dad's computer growing up and didn't know what I was doing and would just randomly win sometimes and lose most other times haha. Great job though! I really loved the look of everything!

This has been the most shocking game i've played this Jam. I had to play it a few times to better understand what was happening but super unique concept! Great job! Also i loved the way  you transitioned screens!

I love typing games like this, although yours is definitely harder than most haha. Maybe adding something like 3 strikes before moving to the next one because a couple times I was in the flow state and messed up a letter and it auto swapped people and text. Then before I realized it swapped i had lost haha.

I ended up playing this for way longer than I had planned to! Great job with how fun it was and satisfying! The only comment I have is that I didn't understand the reason for the bunny speed because I was just clicking on the bunny to put my carrots. But then when i was in the thousands I realized that there are other upgrades. I would recommend making the fact there are more upgrades more prominent. What I have seen other games do is make sure one of the upgrades is only halfway showing on the scroll bar so the player can clearly see they should scroll down. Overall great job!

Holy shit the perspective and everything was so good! There was one thing that bugged me and that was that the arrow showing where I was walking was never where I clicked it was always below it. But loved the game and my favorite part was the MS paint at the end hahaha

I liked that the carrot would actively try to avoid you haha, I wish there were more levels though! Overall i think it was a very cool concept and could become something really fun with time! Good job!!

I played it for a bit but couldn't figure out exactly what the workers or carrots did? I sold for a bunch of money once but then i had multiple currencies. Maybe just a little snapshot of what to do next time but overall good job!!

I honestly love this kind of game but I just couldnt figure out what to do for the longest time. Then when I realized I used my mouse to place the printers I wanted to be tidy and put it in the top left corner but all the carrots spawned outside haha. Great job overall!

I was a little confused at first but I got it after a minute, I didn't really understand why i needed the carrots besides to upgrade the farm and produce more carrots or what the sanics did for the game but still great job!!

Game too hard for me and my smooth brain but looks incredible and I'm sure is very fun for someone who can think it through! Great job!!

All willing participants I promise ☺️

HAHAHA my buddy thought that you ONLY put gingers into it so I get it

I feel like it takes so long on the timer, I know I could speed it up but i wasn't doing that at first and I planted SOOO MANY carrots haha and i think it was only 1PM still but overall great game!

My favorite part was after winning the game I chose to just keep clicking and then i spammed clicked and the sound plus screen shaking was so freaking satisfying! Great job!

I LOVED the art style in this game! Whoever did that amazing job! I also liked the idea but kept wasting ingredients cuz I didn't see the soups in the stock market show how to make them.

I loved the art style! Great job with that,  although at some point I found out I couldn't die and became super rich!

I thought I knew my people but I guess I don't haha I only made profit with babies or elderly but overall great job!

I loved that you made a co-op game though the instructions were a little unclear, in the first round I used a card to have two extra workers but then on the next 4 rounds neither of us could use any cards then all of a sudden I could use all the cards at once? I still really loved the idea and concept! It's like a variation of battleship and could see myself having fun with it again!

The audio was incredible in the game great job! I never healed any bunnies :'c I felt like i did all the combinations but then one randomly gave the bunny  glasses  hahaha I guess I wasn't smart enough for this one
