I played a bit and found the balance between activities to be quite good. The system is intuitive, and with some artwork, it’s going to look great. The only thing that bothered me was the repetitiveness — after selling a few katanas, the game starts to lose momentum. I think introducing a use for gold would help with that, giving more purpose to the actions. The upgrades are a nice addition (they weren’t in the version I played before). I’d also suggest defining the setting more clearly (historical, fantasy, modern, etc.) and adding a bit of storytelling, like random phrases when you sell a sword that influence your reputation. For example: “Your sword was bought by someone who did something notable with it.” Another upgrade idea would be hiring assistants to perform multiple tasks at once, but with time penalties. Overall, the project is very promising!
