Oh yeah and honestly the mass murder part isn't even necessarily what bothers me that just makes the already questionable morals of the MC more questionable lmfao.

Its moreso how quickly you go from watching him torture Algaia to cracking jokes on the space platform, that makes her character feel a bit meaningless to the MC at that time.
Even if they had barely met if Algaia is someone the MC is supposed to care about at all I don't think thats something thats so easy to forgive/forget.
Oh I think I should add so it doesn't seem like I'm just hating I think the game overall is like a 9/10 really really good so far, I'm just going after this one part particularly because blonde elf ladies are my thing and watching that scene + forgiving the person who did it makes me angy
I'll definitely keep an eye on the game to see how things develop but I feel like it takes quite a few leaps in logic to go from watching Jester demonify a girl right in front of you to just strait up forgiving him for mass murder. The MC can say he doesn't forgive him but in this case I gotta say actions speak way louder than words lol.
Kept playing after and the story seemingly goes back to normal Aka quite good and enjoyable to read, I would take a look back at the entire story segment involving Jester because its a massive tone switch and also really doesn't make much sense at all assuming the MC has any kind of morals. I don't know if you've seen Full Metal Alchemist but imagine if they forgave Shou Tucker (Chimera guy) that's basically what the MC is doing.
