Right click the game (on steam after adding it), go to Properties > Compatibility. Check the "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" box and select a Proton version, can pick any one to see which one works for you. You might have to select it twice as it might bug out the first time and default to whatever the first entry was. I just tested it on my CachyOS (Arch Linux) with Proton 10 and it works wonderfully

Game is great! I always love games where it uses the mechanics of moving the actual window. Wish I could play it more but running the game directly from the .exe has performance issues. So I proceed to run it with the opengl.bat file as mentioned. But now the game crashes after a few seconds.

The time it takes from opening to crash seems random. Sometimes is in 2 seconds, sometimes it can take up to 15 seconds. Is there anyway to troubleshoot what could be causing it?

I'm running Windows 11 on a machine with AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPU + NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti card.
