It is indeed a bit unusual, but it's related to the game's lore. It's a strange, particularly cruel world where a portion of the population is slaughtered daily to feed the elite. Their rapid regeneration provides a virtually endless source of food.
A little difficult at times. I would have liked a little more variety in the platforms, similar to the last ones in the game. But it works well, well done!
Good job ! The game is pretty difficult :p I got to level 2. Sometimes I found myself stuck where I couldn't move my character. The hitbox isn't easy to get the hang of.
Aside from the window size issue, the game is interesting. However, it might have been better to "cut" the dialogue at the end of each exchange; it quickly becomes repetitive. And I didn't figure out how to get to the ending. I took pictures of all the NPCs and talked to each one. Maybe I missed one.
I really like the combination of tower defense and roguelite. The sprites and music fit together perfectly, the difficulty seems a bit high, but it's playable and fun.
However, the text on the cards is a bit small if you're not playing in fullscreen mode.

The graphics are really cool. The gameplay is simple but effective. I'm struggling a bit with the VFX screen, the jumps aren't easy, but the concept is original and fun.
