This was such a cool game. It feels very polished, and the art style is super cool. The intuitive sound design made it nice and tense. Very well done!

Thank you so much for your sweet feedback. I'm super happy you enjoyed our game. 💚
We made the choice to let the tarot cards be tarot cards, and the cards you draw are completely random each time you play. What you get is what you get, just like in real life! 😊
I totally get the frustration on wanting to do well and get a good score with everyone, though.
Each froggy has their favourite type of cards (which can be looked up in the Grimoire), so I think it's the player's choice here to go with the words they know the frog likes the most, or with words that you feel align with the card reading the most. There's no right or wrong way! 🐸
I really enjoyed this game. It has super cozy vibes, and I like the level of exploration it offers. The sound design is super chill and the controls are very intuitive. I love collecting trash on the beach, yay!
One very minor bug I found is that shiny things given through chests or the recycling bins sometimes glitch into the ground or into the mountain, so they weren't visible.
Thank you so much for playing and for the valuable feedback!💚
You are definitely pointing out some of the challenges we faced with our game mechanics. I've never created a mad lib mechanic before, so it was a challenge and learning experience. 🐸
We're still super happy that you enjoyed it, and we're taking that feedback to heart for a post-jam version.
The art is PHENOMENAL in this game, just wow! It's so lovingly crafted. The shrimpy is the cutest lil guy and their story made me a little emotional. 🥺 The writing and sound design really drive home that sweetness. I am super impressed.
I really enjoyed the gameplay, especially visiting the ocean floor for new ingredients!
Thank you so much, that is such high praise! 😊
Your choices can be as silly or appropriate for the question as you wish. There is a scoring system based on the froggies favourite card types, and they can give positive, indifferent or negative comments based on the words you picked!
Most important is that you had fun though! 💚
The art and animations are beautiful! This is such a charming game, it makes me feel very nostalgic. It's super polished and I would love to see more in this style.
I wish the full-screen option was turned on. You can do that on itch.io, when you edit your game, in case you feel like doing it. It's just a tad small otherwise. 😊
Thank you for playing Froggy Fortune and for your kind feedback! 💚
The limitation lies in the readings themselves. The Frogs have favourite card themes (seen in the Grimoire), the Witches Nose tells you they aren't working at the beginning. They do, however, those answers often sound like "wrong" choices when picked. So you have to decide whether you want a good score with the frogs, or say something that actually is good advice. 🐸
As for the honhonhon, it's based on phonetics, I believe. The sound of a French person laughing. An example I can think of is the French Chef in the Little Mermaid!
