Truly the greatest game about Dutch trees we've seen yet.  An innovative blend of visual novel, first-person shooter, and logging tycoon.  SHOCKINGLY violent though.

So, the first thing that struck me about this game was the odd mix of stock assets and impressive 3D effects.  The next thing that struck me was how ridiculously difficult it is.  Jumps are tricky, enemies swarm you constantly, and several of the gems you need to progress are in REALLY unfair places.  After a lot of concerted effort I was able to make it past the first level, but I couldn't get any further.  Core mechanics feel pretty good though.  I like the feel of the grappling hook swing.  Gotta say I was not expecting so many random deep cut references, like when Patch from Playmobil Pirates DS showed up, or when a music track from LEGO Island 2 started playing.  This has a lot of potential, but it could really use an easy mode.

Breathtaking audio
